After renting out our property successfully for a number of years we need to sell it and release some quity to help facilitate our own home move.
The team were exceptionally well informed on the best way to support.
They negotiated with the outgoing tenant and dovetailed the completion with the end of the tenancy so that financially we hardly felt any dip income before we received the sales proceeds.
We are both exceptionally impressed by the service we received.
Can't thank or recommend them enough.
First of all this is a general review of what we experienced with Gatekeeper agency I'm not making referrals to any agents as most of them are nice and friendly but they are not there to make you better they are there to make money from you.
1.Comunication with tenants it can be improved by providing them a phone number which is free to use and contact the estate agent
2.We didn't felt supported with agents smiling and temporarily emphasizing with us without taking real actions to show their support
3.There has been and end of tenancy fee taken from our deposit early than at the end of tenancy, without anyone notifying. We had to ask and find about it and the explanation was 'anyway that fee is taken from the deposit at the end of tenancy'.
4. We had 3 inspections over an year and a half without any issues at all but at the end of the contract we had money deducted from our deposit for silly reasons like grass has grown into the flowers, CO2 sensors not working or dirty oven.
5.All the reasons for deduction we have not been present when the inspection has been done, so we cannot verify anything as the agency didn't provide any photos with how the garden has been 'repaired' or how the oven is looking after being cleaned and where the new CO2 sensors has been installed and replaced. Not to mention that nothing was new in that house and they were expecting to be like new.
6.What I think is that they are applying this issues to many as possible tenants trying to deduct money from their deposit.
7. In the end doesn't matter how hard you are looking for the house or place you are renting from Gatekeeper there allways be issues raised at end of tenancy to deduct some money. This is all about really for them or Gatekeeper ''money''.
In the end I would like to mention that this is a honest review about what we experienced with this agency, I don't know if there are others better there.
Katherine was lovely to work with. Promptly responding to emails and her knowledge of the area was much appreciated when someone is coming to Headington from out of town. Great experience overall. Thank you!

I don’t know about sales department but not happy with Rent department with Chancellors.
We rented a house through Headington Estate Agent in, Oxfordshire and we have a father who is severely disabled and living with us. The attitude and behavior of the manager and the staff there towards my father and accusing him of pretending to have a fit which they found that extremely funny. We did improve a dilapidated house with our money and after paying a full deposit to them then we have not only had our deposit back but also they started to asking us to pay again for the said house when it was immaculate when we gave them back . Their attitude of the manager including their staff towards us and my severely disabled father was appalling.
Everybody be extremely cautious when dealing with this estate agent and make sure you have solicitor involved when dealing with them . BEWARE !!!
Impressed with a thoroughly professional approach. Sound market advice clearly backed with experience. Added value to what can be a tortuous process. Will use again.
Have worked with Knight Frank and followed various colleagues around the group for a number of years. They are extremely professional in their approach but also great fun to work with too! Keep up the teamwork in 2018!
I would like to thank Knight Frank staff at the Cirencester office for their excellent advice and hard work on our behalf in the recent sale of our property. In particular I mention Rupert Sturgis and Peter Edwards, but also the others who showed potential buyers round the property and those who worked in the background to keep us fully informed at all stages of the sale. It was not a straightforward property to sell but Knight Frank's advice encouraged no fewer than 80 viewings and a most satisfactory sale price was achieved. Our appreciation and thanks to all of you. Stuart Valentine, Stouts Hill. Uley
Great service from Knight Frank in Cirencester. Rupert Marchington and the team were accessible and responsive throughout what was a complex purchase of a listed building just outside Chippenham. Would definitely use again
I cannot fault the Witney team with the sale of my property.
They provided an excellent service from start to finish, in particular I feel I must mention Josh, Kirsty and Paul for all their hard work in achieving the sale. Communication was always regular and I was updated with all feedback from any viewings and kept in touch with the progress on the sale when they had found a buyer. I would highly recommend the Witney team to anyone as they made what could have been a very stressful experience a lot smoother with their professionalism.
Contacted by Rebecca after I had told Chancellors 4 times in the past not to ever contact me again. These people are like a dog with a bone. As soon as they got my details they will *not* stop emailing and phoning me about letting my property through them. Their internal systems are a disaster.
Plenty of good estate agents out there. Would avoid Chancellors at all costs.
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Savills in Summertown. Don't bother with any other estate agency. I have used lots of estate agents over the years (to buy and sell) and I have always found my experience pretty terrible. That's why I was completely delighted to experience a fantastic service this time. Definitely worth the money. In particular I would like to single out Nicky Quentel who has been truly amazing. Very patient, extremely efficient and just a lovely person to deal with. Thank you!!

I clearly told the mortgage advisor that my plans is to buy a property before the stamp duty increase, I contacted him 3 month before buying so we have plenty of time to prepare the best deal, my credit score was 999, it was just a simple remortgage to rise some capital for my BTL parches, 3 month wasn't enough for this mortgage advisor, in result I on lost 2 houses and gave up on the idea or remortgaging.
Never Use SPF gain and will never recommend this firm to anyone.
