After viewing a property twice, we were told not to put in an offer until we had sold our property. 3 weeks ago we sold our property, so I called hayden and put in an offer on the property we previously viewed, our offer was declined, However the seller did say if we were to increase our offer by 5k they would except and complete within 6 weeks. We were delighted, so we offered the extra 5k. The next day I called haydens to ask if the property was actually taken off the market as our offer was what the seller wanted. At this stage I was then told the seller doesn't know who to sell the property too, I wasn't aware of any other interest in the propert when I first placed my offer, but then was assured the other persons was in a long chain, therefore not to worry. The next day I phoned Haydens as I wasn't comfortable with this, and wanted to increase my offer, to be told sorry it's sold, when I asked about the buyer I was then told they were cash buyer and actually had no chain, and it was up to the seller who they wanted to let have the property, I asked why I was previously told they were in a chain, and then told they were a cash buyer. Since then I have been told by the actual seller, they never received a phone call from Haydens with my increased 5k offer, and took it that I was no longer interested in the property. The consequences of lack of communication with Haydens to the seller, I have now lost the property I loved and waited months to purchase, to Haydens it just another sale on their books, with no consideration of upset to buyers. Very disappointed in them. I hope nobody else is put through this, I will keep looking for a new property, but can assure you it won't be through Haydens.... Read more
