Exceptional Service – Highly, Highly Recommend!<br><br>What more can I say other than slick, efficient, friendly, professional and attentive!<br><br>We recently completed the sale of our family home, and I wanted to personally express my sincere appreciation to the entire team at Jackson-Stops, Alderley Edge, for making what could have been a stressful experience an incredibly smooth and positive one.<br><br>James really knows his market and, more importantly, knows exactly how to sell a home. His expertise, honest advice and strategic approach were invaluable. Not only did he achieve a sale above our asking price, but his guidance helped us secure a buyer quickly and navigate the entire process with confidence and minimal stress.<br><br>Of course, behind every great estate agent is an equally fantastic team, and we had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Shari, who was simply wonderful throughout. She genuinely held our hand through the process, seamlessly bridging the gap between ourselves and our buyers. Her warmth, kindness, patience and willingness to go above and beyond made such a difference.<br><br>What particularly impressed me about Shari was her attitude. Communication was brilliant, all very helpful and happy and obviously take great pride in their jobs and the service they provide. Moving house is very stressful but the whole team took a lot of the stress away for us and made moving an enjoyable experience. From all our family we are extremely grateful to them.

They were always on the end of the phone to answer and questions, reassure and give advice. I feel I need to give a special mention to Paula and Victoria, as however busy they were they always took the time to speak to us regarding the sale of our property. Highly recommend.
29th Oct 2026 (4 days ago)Avoid at all costs – Predatory, unprofessional, and condescending<br><br>I would highly discourage any tenant from renting with Northwood. Throughout our tenancy, staff were consistently condescending over the phone whenever we called regarding an issue.<br>After we moved out, they ignored our emails for weeks, then out of nowhere attempted to claim our ENTIRE deposit. They invented astronomical fees for a full-house deep clean, gardening, and damage.<br>Their claims directly contradicted their own official checkout report, which had already marked the bedrooms and living spaces as perfectly acceptable. Their contractor's invoice even illegally tried to charge us for the landlord's statutory smoke alarms!<br>When we raised an official TDS dispute, an agent actually called my wife at her workplace to try and intimidate her into dropping the claim.<br>We stood our ground, and the independent TDS judge instantly saw through their inflated figures, slashing their demand down and legally awarding us 70% back.<br>Be warned: they will treat you poorly on the phone, invent fake charges, and try to bully you into letting them keep your money. Keep everything in writing, take screenshots, and always use the TDS dispute process to protect yourself.

They were able to guide us through the inevitable hiccups surrounding house buying as best they could and you always felt that they were doing their best for you. We would recommend to family and friends.
