I would like to say how Amazing Reed Rains have been. We have recently purchased a Large HMO property in Bridlington. Natalie, Andrew, Charlotte and the Team at Reed Rains have been Amazing.
We get regular updates on any issues with the property. The team are very friendly, inviting and very friendly.
Choosing such a reputable company with great staff was always key for us when we purchased a property in Bridlington, on meeting the team and the staff identifying our needs they have managed to exceed our expectations and have gone above and beyond to accommodate for us. We thank the team at Reed Rains Bridlington, and know this is the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship.
Had us stood in the rain waiting to view a flatat 11 O'Clock that had already been rented because they couldn't be bothered to ring us and tell us not to bother so went to 11.30 viewing, guy there told us he had it on his paperwork to tell us the flat we were supposed to see at 11 O'Clock had already gone!!
We had a fantastic experience with Hunters and renting our very first home. They are so professional and would recommend them to anyone. Beth was especially friendly and helpful. Thank you :)
Accepted our offer on a house and told us they wouldn't take any more viewings, we where made up as it was the house of our dreams only to receive a call later that day to tell us they let someone else view (a chain) and they put in a higher bid and they have accepted that one, in a word disgusting!
We had a previous offer rejected as we where just short of the asking price so we went away and borrowed and sold assets to be able to meet the buyers price only a week later! To be told its ours and be overjoyed then have it ripped away from us just five hours later is outrageous. It has gone to a mortgage chain rather than a young family!
This practice is scheduled to be debated in the Houses of commons and could soon be made illegal, regulation of property agents has been proposed by mp's to protect first time buyers (like us) and to also enable young people/family's (like us) to get on the property ladder. My advice would be go with and estate agent that practices a good moral code before waiting for the law to step in, the extra couple of % in commission was obviously of more importance to Hunters Estate agents than been a moral practice and shattering a young family's dreams
Simply additional viewings should have been cancelled once the offer was accepted by the seller
AVOID AVOID AVOID
Was gazumped! my offer accepted cash buyer no chain. Then nearly a week later had my offer acceptance withdrawn as they had accepted another... I assume bigger offer, now its sold. Waste of time and money. Beware. don't get to excited about your dream home. They have no morals.
Lovely people to deal with, friendly, approachable, go the extra mile to accommodate you. It's good to have an estate agent with genuine local knowledge, mainly because they were born, raised and live right here in Bridlington. Harris Shields gives a personal touch to the often chainstore feel of many of the big estate agents.
Your web site is not very navigable. I asked for properties in Bridlington and did NOT want to look at properties in Scarborough
Our purchase through this agent was a bit complicated, caused by a difficult vendor. The team at Nicholas Belts were superb, went the extra mile and remained professional throughout. Jane, in particular, was so helpful and kind, we would certainly use this agent in the future! Thank you so much.
These people harass your neighbours when you are selling, telling them to smarten up their properties so that they can make more money. Horrendous.
