Jemma really took charge with our purchase and made things happen. It was a seriously tricky exchange with a grade 2 listed building and associated legacy issue around boundaries. We can not recommend Reeds Rains and particularly Jemma more highly to get you a result with either buying or selling.

My family wanted to buy house we viewed a property on Thorpe street it was for sale at 100k on morning of viewing it had a bid on there joint agency website of there joint agent I Am sold.. if your not familiar which who these people are there the company that runs auctions till either auction ends or they convince the vender to take a offer they charge buyer 5% plus vat.... on morning of viewing I was advised there was a offer on the property i looked online seen it was just 90k knowing about the 6k resavation fee i informed the person who shown me round I wanted to put in a offer... after trying for 3 hours to get though to I am sold and going into Rains office several times no contact was made next day house sold I got phone call at 9am. The vender had been took into a home and needed money fast so they took someone else's 90k instead of my 94k which my was liquid in the bank... I'd never sell with these people they dont submit offers one of 2 agents in bridlington w who act like this sadly

I would highly recommend Reeds Rains if you are looking to buy/sell your property. We just sold our bungalow in Flamborough and being overseas sellers we were so fortunate to have Jemma Goodacre who was not only friendly, professional and knowledgable but she also went out off her way to ensure that we were kept fully informed as things progressed and even arranged for local contractors to complete necessary work to ensure that all went smoothly. We will definitely use Reeds Rain again when the need arises.

Reeds Rains staff were friendly and professional when dealing with the sale of our property. In particular we must thank Andrew Vidler, the Bridlington office manager, for his efforts in securing a second buyer after the first ones dropped out at the time of signing the contract. Within five days of the first cancellation Andrew had found new buyers and had also liaised with the builder of our new property to assure them that the new purchasers were sincere in their intention to purchase our property. We cannot thank him enough for his efforts on our behalf as we were in danger of losing our new property because of the loss of the first sale.

A disappointing experience, I left a phone message as requested due to lines busy when wanting to enquire about rental property listed, I didn't receive a call back. Well, what can we say? Absolutely fantastic service from Jemma at Reeds Rains who supported us through our house purchase. The house we made an offer on went to probate just towards the end of our buying journey which extended the process by several months. Jemma supported us by keeping us up to date and going the extra mile to ensure we were fully informed with what was going on even if it was just to up date us that there was no news. A mention to Kaylee too who was a great support at the end of our buying journey, particularly by constantly following up with the vendors solicitors who were reluctant to engage in communications most of the time! I recently moved to a property rented through reeds rains, after several weeks of desperately looking for somewhere to live and struggling with property shortages due to covid and been so close to Christmas the options were very limited, i viewed a property which was initially too small for my requirements however Natalie and lydia showed me around another that wasnt even available for rental yet, after viewing i was very pleased with the potential property and lydia helped with sorting out all the not so exciting paperwork side of things. 5 days after initially viewing the property im now fully moved in and very comfortable in my new home. They even provided me with a little moving in gift and sorted some home insurance out for me. Its really nice to have a good team take most the stress out of moving. Would definitely rent through reeds rains again. Thanks for your hard work ????

Thank you so much for your wonderful service from start to finish I can’t praise you all highly enough. I live 160 miles away in coventry and had to sell my late mother’s property as executor of her will and the care and attention given to me during what was a very sad time after her death do something I’ll never forget.You all worked so hard with true professionalism and understanding that it made a very difficult set of unwanted circumstances much more bearable.

Me and my partner have been trying to find some where bigger for our family in the Brid area to rent. We have been let down by other agents by not getting notifications on new property's so wanted to try and leave our details with as many as possible to have the best chance of being told when something new comes available.
I came into the office a few Saturdays ago and spoke to someone who i can only describe as very frosty.
I was told the best person to speak to was the lettings manager who was out on a appointment which was a shame as the person i spoke to was utterly unhelpful. She did offer to take my details but was not at all helpful with the questions i had on what we would need to do if we found somewhere we liked.
I didn't leave any details as I wasn't filled with confidence that i would even be contacted.

When we booked a viewing with a property managed by Reeds Rains we didn't expect much. From the moment we arrived at the viewing Natalie was stood outside the property waiting for us with a smile on our face. when we entered the communal area it was very clear that customer care was a high priority, as Natalie knew the other tenants by first name and made the time to stop and introduce us to our potential neighbors. She made us feel very welcome, she showed us round and left us to have a good look. she then showed us another property and let us follow her as we did not know the way. after we made our application Natalie and the other staff at Reeds Rains made sure we knew what was happening and how long it would take, frequently keeping in contact to ensure that we was in the loop. Myself and my family are in the early stages looking to relocate to the area from Lincoln to be closer to family in Flamborough. I called into the office by chance as we had parked in the supermarket behind.
It was a very cold an miserable day but I can honestly say I got a very warm welcome.
I was greeted straight away and by no means pounced on, I explained I was only tentatively looking at the moment and wanted a little bit more information but didn't want to leave my details. Charlotte who I spoke with mostly was very knowledgeable on the local area and was happy to listen and answer my question, the lady to her left with dark hair (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) was also very friendly and happy to add her thoughts.
Charlotte recommended when we were closer to a decision to call & register some details and gave me her card, she also mentioned about values on my current property and reeds rains offices that are close by to us which was great. I have been looking a lot at local estate agency's online and having seen Reeds Rains has a lot of positive reviews felt compelled to add my experience, although only brief was a breath of fresh air.

I go in. Was in yesterday after being at work at 4am and they made the time there fun and stress free!:) They don't pressure you into anything at all and are so understanding.
Reeds Rains as a agency is fantastic! They are a great agency to go with if you are looking at renting, selling or buying. They do a great job and helpyou find the right place that suits your situation and makes sure affordability isn't a problem. They check through every single thing and even once you've moved into a property (if renting) they have someone come round to check if there is any problems, they check absolutely everything, no corner isn't checked. This is a great help for when you decide to leave so they are aware of any damages that were there before or that have happened whilst you are in the property. Can't fault the company at all and the girls are a credit to the agency. Doing a great job girls, such a lovely bunch! Well done and thank you! ????

I approached Reeds & Rains to let my property. Natalie answered & she couldn't have been more accommodating. We arranged a meeting, sorted out the particulars & less than 2 weeks later a tenant was found.
The whole process couldn't have been any easier, Natalie a true professional, kept me constantly in me the loop, with lots of updates.
Again for trouble free letting, I couldn't recommend Reeds & Rains enough.

Ive popped into this branch twice now as I get the bus home from just outside. The first time was a few weeks back, no one was in except a man stood round the corner having a blazing row on the phone with someone, he stuck his head round the corner and then went back to his argument!!! Feeling very awkward, I left. Went in two weekends ago after my shift to be met by a blonde woman on the phone who also didn't have the decency to acknowledge me once while I waited, so I just left.
A couple of my friends rent through reads rains who dealt with Natalie, they've said she was helpful and is the one to speak to there about renting, if you can get hold of her they said, as she's never in!
As I get the bus 3 times a week from just outside in my opinion they are far too busy either swearing or on their phones to be bothered by anyone that might actually want something.
Hope this is of help to someone.

Had us stood in the rain waiting to view a flatat 11 O'Clock that had already been rented because they couldn't be bothered to ring us and tell us not to bother so went to 11.30 viewing, guy there told us he had it on his paperwork to tell us the flat we were supposed to see at 11 O'Clock had already gone!!

We have recently rented a beautiful home through Reeds Rains, Bridlington, after traveling around India. Having viewed several unsuitable properties across the area we went into Reeds Rains on spec'. Natalie seemed to immediately understand what type of home we were looking for... within a few days we had viewed our new property, paid our fees & then we went on holiday to wait for it to become vacant. Reeds Rains staff were all polite & professional, Natalie certainly goes the extra mile, she seems to understand that their 'property' is actually our 'home'. They got us moved in before xmas, keeping us informed along the way. The usual 'snagging' issues that we found on moving in day were quickly resolved via Natalie's personal attention. We are now living 'happily ever after' safe in the knowledge that a telephone call will always result in a listening ear & a solution. Well recommended.
