Honestly couldn't ask for any better. I do believe that we sold at a good time, but from the moment John came into our house to value I could tell that we were dealing with agents who went the extra mile. Not only did he give us the best valuation (in our opinion) he really went to the effort of 'selling' Bridgfords to us, backing up their performance with stats and insights. All other agents we had round simply valued then left - lazy.
From the second we put the house on the market with Bridgfords they had people lined up to view it and I'm delighted to say that we had competing offers within days of going on the market and we'd agreed a sale at the asking within 4 days! All in, from going on the market to completing and moving out was 10 weeks, as I say, you can't ask for better than that. The whole team in Buxton were friendly, helpful and great at communicating with us throughout the process.

Unfortunately I cannot report a good service, my experience of Bridgfords Buxton has been very different. Rude staff who simply do not contact you when they say they will. I have had to chase everything from them, and still do not have the paperwork. I would not use them to sell my house.
After having staged a house on the market with Rowcliffes in #Buxton it was a pleasure to work with such a positive set of people, they are a very professional and friendly too. The combination of the home staging/furniture rental and Rowcliffes efficiency resulted in the house being sold 6 weeks after the furniture rental installation. I hope we can work together again before too long.
Sold in two days. Cost effective, efficient and does as promised.
Irresponsible letting agency, Jon Mellor & Co Estate Agents from Buxton.
We viewed apartment with owner, after this on same time we called to letting agency about rent, but they did not answer on the phone. So, we went to J.Mellor office fast as possible, but they closed it about 45 min early as always, and on next day morning just when Mellor opened office, we arrived the first. And surprise - Jon Mellor manager said - apartment not available. How it is possible Jon?! I understand what all companies from Buxton is out off competition, we spend two working days so this company just waste our time ..
