The contractors and maintenance laborers working for this agency are generally professional, but the property management and office staff are extremely poor. Issues with communication and property maintenance were consistently mishandled, with unresolved disrepair and aggressive communication. Based on my experience dealing with them, the only way to get issues handled was to: 1). Keep all communication strictly in writing (dated emails) to establish an objective paper trail. 2). Submit a formal written complaint directly to management demanding a final response. 3). Escalate the case to the council's Private Sector Housing team and their mandatory redress scheme (PRS), which have the legal authority to award compensation and enforce standards.... Read more
