Be careful.... very sneaky indeed, make sure to check what length contract your signing up for as they are harassing me still 15 weeks later even tho I have taken the house of the market with them, normal estate agents offer 6-16 week contracts, not these, also very aggressive selling techniques used, barrage of phone calls, and think they are the best estate agents in town, and put there competition down, we will not be using these ever again, not pleasant. Peter lane it is for us now, super service so far.

T Payne & Co Ltd - Chatteris

6 High StreetChatteris

We bought through t Payne and they were fantastic. Couldn't do enough for us as we went through some rocky times but they supported us all the way and kept in contact.brilliant team and would totally recommend to buy and sell through Thank you guys.

Jane Wallington

Unhappy with T Payne . But agent refused to end contract unless I paid him. By refusing to end our contract we now have to stay off the market until the contract expires, this is very spiteful and petty. Sellers beware. All was well until we started asking questions . I thought we had engaged an agent to sell our house not to tell me who I could and could not talk to. Agent does not like you to communicate with your buyer as you may tell the truth. Apparently telling the truth to your buyer can loose you the sale.Being dishonest gives the same result!! Independent estate agents in my opinion are not a good idea as you have no one to complain too at a head office, they can basically do what they want and there is no redress. Most agents are quite happy to end the contract if you are not happy with them or, better still if you want an independant go for an agent who does not tie you into a long contract, such as Maxey Grounds who have an open contract.. Your only course of redress is the Ombudsmen.

GetAgent makes finding an estate agent easier.

Very helpful in arranging for 3 agents to come around and put their pitch for marketing our property. Having them as an intermediary made the process...

A very good comparison website

A very good comparison website for checking local estate agencies. We used it to check who have sold the most in our area and the results were very useful to us.

It really helped my decision making

There are so many estate agents to choose from but they provided details with the numbers of houses each had sold in my area and which had achieved the asking price which I found most helpful

Mrs Heather Marshall

Choose the right agent for your house.

An amazingly easy way to choose your estate agent with total confidence. I did and among the many found the right one for my house. Speedy, responsive, considerate and effective. Thank you.
