Chose Franca thinking she would be good during the final (post offer but pre contract exchange) stage in the process, but it's someone else at Philip James that handles that side of things (who also seems good, but worth bearing in mind)!

7th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)I was impressed by their knowledge of property prices in the area, leading to a realistic valuation and quick sale. The property was marketed overnight. We had a number of buyers in the first week, several of which made offers. They kept me in touch at all times and were very friendly and helpful on the phone. The sale went through very smoothly.
22nd Aug 2019 (4 years ago)The guy called Matt did not show in the viewing and asked for second one to be delayed for a week. When I checked rightmove I found out they raised the prices after I asked to see the property. Just run away from them.

2nd Jun 2022 (1 year ago)We had a disappointing and frustrating experience with ReedsRains. The initial appointment was promising but as i had to go into hospital for two weeks, that slowed things down initially BUT after that we made six calls to the office asking them to get things moving and asking for the manager to call us back but he never returned our calls. Eventually i rang again and told whoever answered that they may as well take the property back off the market as they werent communicating with us and seemed disinterested to which the reply was "okay then". It took 2 weeks for them to remove the sales board and we heard nothing back from the manager and no apology or explanation.

19th Nov 2022 (1 year ago)Everyone at the Estate Agency have been very helpful and informative. They have guided me through the process and have explained each step. They set my expectations at the beginning, which was good. The process has been a smooth one. They fitted in visits around my shifts. I liked the fact that the viewings were done on one day without me being there (great when you live with a toddler) They have always been prompt in replying to any messages. They have made this part as stress free as possible for me.
19th Nov 2023 (25 weeks ago)I recently had the displeasure of having Phillip Ellis manage my two properties, I'm compelled to share my profoundly unsatisfactory experience. Having initially connected with a staff member at a networking event, the reality of working with this company fell far short of expectations. The litany of unprofessionalism began with the inexcusable allowance of early tenant access to one property, a blatant violation of the contract terms. In the other property, a shocking lack of property inspections persisted for an entire year, leaving my investment at the mercy of neglect. Critical paperwork was not only mishandled but also lost, contributing to a pervasive lack of communication from this company. Despite my persistent efforts to address these issues, there was no acknowledgment of fault or a hint of an apology. To say that Phillip Ellis fell short of their promises would be an understatement. The level of unprofessionalism exhibited throughout my dealings with them has been beyond poor. I cannot emphasise enough the sheer frustration and disappointment this company has caused. In conclusion, my encounter with Phillip Ellis stands out as one of the worst business experiences. Their complete lack of accountability, awful communication, and unfulfilled promises make them a company to avoid at all costs. Spare yourself the headache and explore alternative options for your property management needs
13th Apr 2024 (30 days ago)I felt we had a very rocky start with the main contractions dealing with leaving. I had to chase mostly for feed back on viewings and I never felt that communication was as it was promised in the beginning. It’s a difficult market so it’s hard to say what and how the flat would have sold price wise and time wise in a better market overall I would say average
30th Jan 2024 (15 weeks ago)Initial valuation was good with an expert in local knowledge, however some of the viewing agents were unprofessional and when I complained Normie still sent the same agent for viewings. The first sale fell through and feedback from Normie was that they never had good communication with the buyers who rarely responded and only by email, then after 4 months they pulled out, we were not notified of this issue. I would still recommend them for lesser value properties, they have a big presence in the area and a high turnover of properties some of the employees are very good however we had invested in the person who valued it and they were not present for the viewings.
14th Nov 2021 (2 years ago)We were about 5 minutes late for a viewing because of the traffic when I managed to reach them on phone. I apologised and said we'd be there soon. They said the agent only waits 10 minutes, so they have to speak to him. After another 5 minutes they called me back and said the agent already left for another viewing. My wife was literally next to the house but as no-one was there,it was dark already and she didn't know which house it is without any lights. I told them it took us around 1.5 hours to get there with our 1yo baby and I don't think this is fair. We'd been still in the property even if we were on time. The agent finally came back and showed the house. He said he already changed his shoes as he was wearing a flip-flop because he went went home.

We were doubtful as heard this before and the house had been on the market for over a year. Well less then two weeks an offer was in and the house is sold. would highly recommend Mark and also Agency UK to anyone trying to sell in this tough market

Adam is a genuinely nice guy and this, in combination with his impressive knowledge and expertise, got our house sold (for the full asking price) in less than 3 weeks!
