The chap who we first saw seemed very straightforward and easy to deal with. He didn't seem to be trying to impress us particularly, just being straightforward. He was probably in his forties and had been in the trade for quite a while and was the owner of the Seymours franchise which we thought was a good sign. He was never pushy throughout the process and his team members were of the same ilk. Straightforward, easy to talk to and helpful. Once the house went on the market they got a lot of viewings in in a short time, so they were obviously good at attracting potential buyers. Oh, and I was offered 1% commission + VAT without even have to negotiate. This was important, but the overall feel of Seymours was more important.
