I always get nervous when moving. There are so many things to remember and I want to make sure I'm making the right decisions for myself and my kids and for a fare price. I was so impressed and made to feel completely at ease with Barnard Marcus. The Manager, Nick was completely up front and honest with me, kept up a stream of consistent communication and made sure I had all the information I needed. Because of this, the whole process went quickly and smoothly and it gave me the peace of mind I needed at an already stressful time.
I'd definitely only go through Barnard Marcus now and a special mention to Nick for his knowledge, professionalism and general kindness. 5 stars.
bad experience with BM. No communication along the process, no booking confirmations, addresses, no direct contacts to talk to, completely ignored after making an offer, ignored when asked for explanations...I never write reviews but I never felt so let down before. I found my place btw..clearly not thank to you.
I chose Chancellors because Duncan, who valued my property, was open and honest about the chances of sale and value. The team at Surbiton including Ryan, were really good at getting viewings, passing on information and generally keeping me going when it looked like the market was slowing down.
Although my sale turned out to be a bit more protracted than expected, the Chancellors team were with me every step of the way. Particularly Karen at the Conveyancing Team offices who spoke to me virtually every day until exchange and completion.
I can't recommend Chancellors highly enough.
Terrible company. We lost a property we liked due to their incompetence and the reference company not doing their job properly. We are STILL owed money back from them (as of today’s date, 6/4/19) and when they say ‘’someone will call you back, they NEVER do!
Reference company report came back as my income "not earning", when in fact last year I earned well over £30,000, which I proved all 3 times they asked for my bank statements.
They also said that my fiancé had NOT declared about a CCJ he had. He DID declare it and we sent proof it had been satisfied. Also, we are disputing it anyway as we did not know about it until very recently. But they lie all the time, and I have read this on other reviews also.
Avoid like the plague. They are a headache and there are much better estate agents out there. If I could leave no stars, I would.

The most unprofessional agent that i have ever met. They advice in choosing a property, the way they sign contract and their support were simply terrible. Their agents are really unprofessional they transfer my deposit to somebody else's account and it cause some problems for me. In addition, when i was signing a contract they told me they have standard contract format but it wasn't. I don't know what would happen to me without the Advice of Citizen Advice Bureau. I trust Your-Move and it cost too much for me. I have already told to lots of students at Kingston university ... Don't work with this agent..
I had an excellent experience moving into the Kingston area through Leaders. They were always on top of things, replying to our emails promptly and were always accommodating when we visited the branch in the town centre. Joel was our agent and he did especially well with helping us with our search for a house to rent and then finalising the deal. Overall it was a smooth process.
Terrible, complete mess up from start to finish, I didn't get my keys until 6pm on the day of moving, while apologetic, no refund was offered despite the extra costs I incurred due to the ineptitude of the contracts department. I hope to never have to deal with them again.
Friendly & professional with great knowledge of the area. They contacted us to view tge house that is now our home & it was exactly what we were looking for, no time wasting looking at properties that weren't right for us. The whole team from start to finish were great to deal with throughout the process. Thanks again for finding us our forever home!!
Absolutely useless staff. They had my wrong name and had to tell them three times that they had it wrong. Keep phoning me when I've asked to be emailed only. I gave them what I was looking for in a property and they have totally ignored what I've asked and are sending me completely the wrong thing. I will not be using this estate agent in future
After going through Hell for many with a large chain agent, Nichols Residential not only found me a buyer within a week but did all their best to get the sale through as quickly as possible. Kept me informed at every stage. My only regret was not using NRin the first place. I would definitely use Nichols Residential again if I were to buy or sell another property in the the cover. Highly Recommended
Bad experience. The worst in UK.
They proposed a detached house with 2 Garage in internet and after agreement they communicate that only one was available. 4 months with a bathroom out of order and 1.5 year to have a deposit back. Suggestion: be faraway from them!
