Thank you Kecia…
I would also like to say a big thank you for being on top of this one and pushing it through, despite the many obstacles put in your way.
Your good humour and voice of calm in the mist of much nonsense have been hugely appreciated all the way through.
Thank you once again, I do not think we would have got there without your help.
All very much appreciated.
AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!!!!!
A friend of mine had used these estate agent, and was done over when it came to the inventory leaving the property, when they moved in it was one page long, and then when they moved out it was thirty pages long, and i feel the decision they made with the landlord was deceptive and a team effort and my friends had been in the property for over four years so a bit of wear and tear which is normal
the inventory company works in the estate agents favor never the tenants!!!!!
I would highly recommend Chancellors Surbiton. I was impressed by professional approach of Daniel Carlisle.
Daniel was polite, courteous and a pleasure to deal with on the phone. Really took the time to understand my needs and requirements.
Lying, bullying, general harassment and unprofessional behaviour seem to be Ryan Powers' method of estate agency. He called constantly, demanding answers to questions there is no way I would know and refusing to call any of the other professionals involved. My solicitor finally instructed me not to take any more of his calls and when she tried to speak to him, he hung up on her! He continually tried to frustrate the sale, which I believe is against the ethics of estate agency work and made my life a misery. Sadly this behaviour appears to be condoned by the company as the response to my complaints were that they were sorry for the inconvenience caused but it was done in my best interests! Everything that gives Estate Agents a bad name can be found here.
We did not sell our property through KFH but certainly wish that we had! We did however recently purchase our new home through KFH Kingston and can testify to the excellent service Ross and his team (must mention Kaylee) provided. Highly recommended.
The agents (both in Lettings and sales) are rude and arrogant. My 80 year old frail mum who was buying a flat in Kingston with KFH in July was treated in a deplorable way. The lady dealing with the sale (Ashliegh) was not present so the others around just left her begging for a ride to the property as she didn't know the bus route and the surveyor was waiting for her at the property. She instead came to kfh and begged them for a ride to the property. I would not recommend this agent to anyone. They lack simple courtesy and humanity! I called to complain and was told the agent who was the rudest to her behaved in that way because he was already on a termination notice. There are many other good agents around, please steer clear of this one.
Michael Gibson was FANTASTIC!!
I experienced a pretty complicated purchase, not because of Michael or Hawes & Co, but because I had a difficult seller. Michael went above and beyond his role in helping me resolve issues I had - in fact without him I think I'd still be trying to sort them out now.
Not only is he helpful but extremely friendly and happy to help out in any way he can.
I have to say my experience with both Michael and Hawes & Co has been great from start to finish and I will certainly be recommending them to friends and family as well as using Michael to sell my property in the future.....if I ever decide to move again!?!
A BIG thank you Michael.
Couldn't agree more with Adam Summers' comment above. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! They lied blatantly to us on a number of issues. DO NOT USE!
Great estate agency! I was very impressed by the professionalism of the individuals I spoke with, this included Sam, Giorgia and Robert. We just so happened to mention to Sam during a visit to a house we had written off as soon as we entered through the front door, that we were looking in the area and he suggested a house, he thought would be perfect for us. He made time the same day to show us around and we almost instantly knew it was our new home. I did not feel pressured at all, it was all very exciting. We went back to visit for various viewings, it was all very positive. Giorgia and Rob took over to complete the sale after our offer had been accepted, they were fast at responding and they worked hard. Giorgia made me feel like she was going through the process with us and we both cheered with happiness when me and my husband got our new home completed and exchanged! All completed within a few months, no unnecessary delays. This was important to us as our wedding was upcoming and we wanted to have our home keys and renovation done before the big day!
I would absolutely recommend Laurels! They are super friendly, kind and caring and very diligent! Absolute stars! Well done for all your hard work.
A thoroughly stressful and unpleasant experience using Laurels. Rob at Laurels repeatedly let us down whilst marketing our property, Was unresponsive, often not responding to calls or emails. We have some suspicions of being misled or worse, lied to, regarding offers received on our property. I should stress these are suspicions at this stage and investigations into this are ongoing. In our opinion, the poor service from Rob at Laurels cost us a perfect home to move into and almost lost the seller of this home thousands of pounds through loss of a deposit. My personal recommendation would be to save yourself the stress and hassle and go with agents with a long track record of excellent customer service. In Epsom, Cairds are a much better agent in my opinion and charge the same fees as Laurels, or Greenfields in the Surbiton area. Please don’t be misled by the notion that Laurels are much cheaper than well established High Street Agents are this certainly wasn’t the case in my experience. My advice, avoid.
