We had a good experience renting a property with Barnard Marcus. The process was as quick and painless as I could hope for. Dealing with Nick was great. I really appreciated how he kept us continually updated and quickly addressed our concerns.
bad experience with BM. No communication along the process, no booking confirmations, addresses, no direct contacts to talk to, completely ignored after making an offer, ignored when asked for explanations...I never write reviews but I never felt so let down before. I found my place btw..clearly not thank to you.
Knight Frank offered the highest valuation for our property, and we were a bit suspicious at first but we went with it. Not only did they find an offer exactly at their valuation but did so within two weeks. Their secret seems to be their client base: it is outstanding, as was their professionalism. I'd have only two words of advice to anyone selling in Richmond and Twickenham: Knight Frank.
After having seen something like 60 flats with other agents I finally got to the point with Knight Frank as I they understood my needs and did not waste my time visiting other random properties. This was great!...
On the other hand... the aftermath was quite painful/annoying unfortunately.
The information received from the Agency revealed to be really imprecise on some aspects of the technical features of the flat (even though reportedly passed by their clients), definitely demonstrating some quite shallow technical knowledge which one would not expect from a name as Knight Frank.
We had an extremely bad experience with another high st estate agent who left us in the lurch. Suzanne and HJC came to rescue and provided a very efficient and commendable service. We are very thankful to Suzanne and her team for their work. It is encouraging to see that there is an estate agent who is reliable and professional after our initial experience. We highly recommend HJC for both their rental and sales service.
Suzanne went above and beyond helping us purchase our first home, even helping us when our solicitor was rubbish! The service was great from start to finish, would definitely recommend using HJC.
I recently purchased a property through Penney & Co and throughout the often very challenging process (due to our related sale) the team at Penney were courteous, considerate and helpful. James was absolutely fantastic and we really couldn't have done it without him!
Never had so many issues along with ILLEGAL conduct from both the estate agent and landlord. Property was so dirty when moving in. Carbon monoxide detector and fire alarm both had faults. Stay very clear of these people. Thieths who look to shift property quick and then scatter when issues are brought up.
Ross and the team at KFH Raynes Park were excellent. They managed the process extremely well in a large chain, providing constant dialogue. They managed to secure a buyer for our property at the price we wanted by valuing and marketing the property correctly with extensive viewings of qualified buyers.
Myself and my fellow tenants have been very happy with KFH's service. KFH have been helpful and professional right from the property viewings through to securing our flat. Moving house can be very daunting and stressful, so it's been really nice to be guided with such patient and friendly service from Shaun at KFH Raynes Park :)
I’m thoroughly delighted with Laurels from a buyer perspective. Both Sam and Giorgia were so accommodating and kept in regular contact. They were friendly, helpful and made the experience really pleasant.

A thoroughly stressful and unpleasant experience using Laurels. Rob at Laurels repeatedly let us down whilst marketing our property, Was unresponsive, often not responding to calls or emails. We have some suspicions of being misled or worse, lied to, regarding offers received on our property. I should stress these are suspicions at this stage and investigations into this are ongoing. In our opinion, the poor service from Rob at Laurels cost us a perfect home to move into and almost lost the seller of this home thousands of pounds through loss of a deposit. My personal recommendation would be to save yourself the stress and hassle and go with agents with a long track record of excellent customer service. In Epsom, Cairds are a much better agent in my opinion and charge the same fees as Laurels, or Greenfields in the Surbiton area. Please don’t be misled by the notion that Laurels are much cheaper than well established High Street Agents are this certainly wasn’t the case in my experience. My advice, avoid.
