22nd Aug 2024 (27 days ago)Very disappointed with the service. Viewed a property with these guys after giving an offer I was told I will be contacted via post. Two weeks went past but didn’t receive anything, so I decided to call the office. After speaking to agent I was told that the house is under offer. I don’t understand why I wasn’t informed of this as initially instructed. I believe something isn’t right with these guys and vendors don’t get to see all the offers on the table from buyers. Avoid

If you are looking to rent out a property Malcolm at Gordon Jones Lettings is very professional, knowledgeable and gives great customer service. However, the staff at G&T are great, especially Louise, who supported us through some issues with quite a difficult prospect buyer. Thank you to the team at G&T!

Elton and Ellie-Marie have remained very professional and supportive throughout the whole process, which we've found to be incredibly straight-forward. They even went above and beyond by arranging an earlier move in date for us with the Landlord. We highly recommend their outstanding services. Thank you!

12th May 2023 (1 year ago)Our first mistake was to be talked into using their in-house solicitors because "it would be more efficient and it would be easier to contact them to follow up queries". The buyers also used the same firm of solicitors. It took 4 months for them to sell the property from when the offer was accepted to when we actually exchanged contracts. This included almost a month to verify our identities because we had to use a portal that wasn't fit for purpose. As there was no upward chain and we were selling to first-time buyers it should have taken half this time. The photographs on the brochure were good but we had to edit the captions because of the number of errors in it. We had to conduct the viewings ourselves because staff were unavailable. The property wasn't displayed in the window, and when I asked why I was told that "no-one looks in the window!" After the property was on the market for 2 weeks, they wanted to lower the asking price. Some emails were sent in error - one regarding the sale of another property! Weeks would pass without any progress having been made. Communication was very poor (during this time the buyers had 3 different solicitors handling their purchase) and we were never sure that the buyers were still interested in purchasing the house. Even the day before we completed they were asking for documents verifying my husband's identity! The whole experience was very stressful and the delays proved costly to us. The service we received from AP Morgan was not worth the fee charged.
13th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)I initially chose to get 5 separate estate agents to value my late mothers home, of which Zak from HR Estates shone brightly above the others. My initial thoughts and gut instincts served me well as Zak helped us feel at ease and kept us fully informed at every level through the entire experience from day one until completion. I highly recommend this very eager to please and professional young man, he is super polite, makes no false promises, a man of his word and the total opposite of the stereotypical estate agent. His calm and friendly but totally professional approach made a difficult time so so much easier and bearable. If you read this Zak once again thank you for everything, we truly are grateful.
31st Jul 2024 (7 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

1st Aug 2024 (7 weeks ago)Ive just sold my property with Re-Max Stourbridge and Stan and his team have been amazing through every step of the process. Very professional and approachable, very regular updates as to what was going on and honest advice and support. There is nothing worse than having to chase things to find out what is going on but i dident have to with re-max - they kept me regularly updated with the sale, and the response to phone calls and emails is amazing, i could always get hold of someone and they always ring you back! I've had a really stressful time with solicitors with the onward purchase, and Stan went above and beyond with communicating with them and the chain/ estate agents to try and get things resolved and the sale moving forwards. Just a brilliant service! Thank you! I would 100% recommend Re/Max Stourbridge if you are selling your property.
