The amazing staff are so professional and able to answer all enquiries quickly and clearly. As a purchaser they helped to organise and expediate my purchase process, and as a seller they got me a great offer on my property in no time at all. Truly a service that cant be beat! Thank you again to everyone at Bridgfords Ponteland.
19th Jul 2024 (21 weeks ago)I wasn’t going to write this but I think people should be aware. Back in winter from October to January, I moved into a flat rented by M L Estates. Since the first time I tried to put the heating on, it didn’t work, there was also a leak that’s caused a wide spread of mould into the apartment I was living in. You could clearly tell the issue had been ignored in the past, the door was rotten but had been painted over.This continued the entire duration of my rental period and progressively got worse, with active water coming into my apartment. I reported this back to Kay, and I was always met with hostility, they left me without any form of heating during winter, I could see my breath in the flat, even worse, the apartment had huge windows and a vent in my bedroom letting cold air from the outside in. It was awful, I was told we’ve been an estate agent for 25 years, we can fix a bit of mould, yet nothing was done and there was clearly a history of this kind of problem. I wouldn’t go near this estate agents. They were aware I was estranged university student, yes I had fallen short on rental due date, but given the current climate of the cost of living and being a student in itself, it’s difficult to navigate, this wasn’t met with much understanding, instead a constant hownding “ as she was following the landlord instruction”. My experience was gross negligence, and I would hate for someone else to be in the position. It was only when I googled how long you can leave a person without heating when I realised this situation really was terrible, if I had the funds I would of escalated it, of course they knew that though. I reported this early December, I moved out the very end of January . Just be aware if you are living alone, and don’t have much support, the estate agency is not for you.

11th Jul 2019 (5 years ago)I never write reviews but I feel so strongly about this company. They treat tenants like second class citizens. We reported problem after problem but they just got ignored and didn’t get fixed. However when we moved out we completed checklist in order for our bond to be returned. Renown gave excuse after excuse for the bond not to be returned. We were being lied to over and over again. Absolute disgrace.
3rd Dec 2024 (10 days ago)From the initial enquiry about selling our property all the staff were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. All during the process, nothing was too much trouble and when we either rang or called in, we were always made welcome, it was like working with friends. Alison who was our main contact was very quick resolving and reassuring us with any queries we had. She made the whole process easy and stress free. This was the first house we have sold in over 40 years but have no hesitation in recommending this team. The staff all were all outstanding. Highly recommended A++++

From sale and purchase through to completion they were professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Tess in particular handled our sale/purchase progression and was, without doubt, the most helpful and competent person we dealt with throughout any of the transactions. On so many occasions her knowledge helped us to keep the transactions progressing. She recognised our situation and did absolutely everything she could, going above and beyond, to support us at a very stressful time. Thanks very much!

It's now been circa 6 months and they refuse to send the confirmation code to the Deposit Protection Scheme. Clearly due the full amount as they never stated within 7 days of tenancy leaving that there would be deductions. Stay away, you would have a better time living in the street than renting through these lot, I know because after leaving that property I spent 3 months homeless.

Moved in July 2024 (around 5 months ago) and we still have outstanding maintenance issues to be fixed despite raising these issues through Hive’s maintenance system the first week we moved in. We have contacted multiple members of staff regarding these issues and half of them have been resolved after chasing them but the rest seems to be forgotten about. I have now gave up chasing for them to be fixed.
28th Nov 2024 (15 days ago)Very poor experience dealing with Alexander Hudson. Viewed a property, paid holding deposit and filled out tenancy application form. We were then told on the phone that we had secured the property. 24 hrs later we were told we did not have the property and were not offered any form of apology. We had cancelled all other viewings as we believed we had the property. Then emailed a week later as the other tenants had fell through. Unfortunately too late at this point.

26th Oct 2024 (7 weeks ago)To echo other reviews on here, Signature were just appalling to deal with. Do not sell your hose with them. When singing up, we were initially told that all viewings would be done by a staff member from Signature. They then continued to tell us on multiple occasions that they had nobody available, leaving my aunt, a single mum, to do them by herself whilst trying to watch a 2 year old. After logging a complaint, Signature again promised that they would attend all viewings. Again, this didn't happen. It took months to receive an offer on our house. We had an initial flurry of viewings by buyers who clearly were not interested, and even these soon dried up. When we raised this to Signature, their only suggestion was to lower the price to well below market value. When we finally did sell our house, Signature broke GDPR by handing over our phone number to the buyers on moving day without our permission. Calling them on the phone was met with giggles and unprofessionalism. This company is run by kids, and it absolutely shows. Avoid at all costs!
