In the final stages of completing she was very helpful in getting it sorted, dealing with both solicitors and clients in a long chain of six! Always professional, kind and supportive throughout the process, with many phone calls and reassuring explanations. Naomi particularly was great as she helped get the completion date over the line as there were some slight issues on the sellers side but it was a success. Great communication from the team and really helpful! Thanks again

Lorraine was brilliant, got us on the market next day, better price point than we had thought and sold it within 2 days. Emma was fabulous at guiding us through a sale and a new purchase, she kept us updated, also helped keep us calm when we needed support and saw us all the way through to completion. I wouldn’t sell my property with anyone else. Loads of local knowledge, professional advice and felt friendly and honest. From first viewing I felt like I was in good hands, right up until completion when they accommodated a last minute viewing before exchange and went over and above to sort keys. Don’t usually get this level of service as a purchaser. Thanks again!

9th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)A speedy and professional job by Rod, Aaron and all the staff I dealt with Alexander Jacob. I'll try to keep this short; I had a small property for sale in Retford which had been rented for a while with another estate agent in town and I asked what they thought I could get on a sale and after an extensive discussion they suggested it be marketed at £80k and wouldn't budge on it. I was never going to accept this and a third party(thank you Shane!) suggested I speak with Rod, he told me £100k would be easily achievable and indicated a little work be done, which came to less than £1k and was arranged by AJ, and I sold for £110k. I'm not suggesting that this will be everyone's experience but Alexander Jacob clearly have a far, far better grip on how the local market is trending than some other estate agents in town.

Then throughout the process Matt helped provide updates and the solicitors were great. Fantastic deal experience I will be recommending to everyone and coming back if I want to sell!

25th Nov 2025 (23 weeks ago)It’s really important to find an estate agent that can market, generate interest and ultimately get that sale you are wanting and Alexander’s can do this. What most people forget about is the process from accepting that offer to completion day, which can be a long time, in a long chain, with long delays from various solicitors and issues that arise. Molly Mcbride at Alexander’s is extremely tenacious, educated and has your back all the way to the finish line. She single handedly progressed our whole chain, constantly chasing up and down, jumping over every hurdle and there was a few! Had we chosen another estate agent I would still be waiting to exchange, it’s opened my eyes into how important it is to make sure you instruct the right estate agent with the right people. Thank you so much Molly!

We had an offer within days of the viewings.<br>Go with an agent who is as committed as you are to sell and will add valuable insight to the process. You won't be disappointed with Paul.

10th Dec 2025 (21 weeks ago)NEEDED TO RENT AN APARTMENT.FOUND ONE IN PADFIELD,VIDEO WAS FORGOTTEN,EXCUSE,WE ARE HUMAN. APPLICATION FORM COULDNT BE OPENED.FOUR DAYS LATER WE MANAGED TO FILL IN APPLICATION FORM,BUT TOO LATE LANDLORD HAD ALREADY FILLED THE APARTMENT. WE THEN WERE DIVERTED TO AN APARTMENT AVAILABLE AT KINDERLEE. ON MONDAY WE WERE APPROVED,PAID THE £230 HOLDING FEE,WITH MOVE IN THE FOLLOWING FRIDAY,LUNCHTIME. HAVING HEARD NOTHING BY 2PM ON THE FRIDAY,I RANG JORDAN FISHWICK FOR AN UPDATE? WOOPS THE APARTMENT HAD MOLD IN AT LEAST TWO AREAS.AND ALTHOUGH FURNISHED,WE WERE INFORMED THAT THE TWO BEDS HAD NO MATTRESSES!! FURTHERMORE,WE COULD NO LONGER MOVE IN THAT DAY,BUT WITH LUCK THE FOLLOWING MONDAY,AFTER CLEANING. WE WERE ADVISED TO CHECK IN AGAIN AT THE TRAVELODGE(£70/NiGHT) NOT WANTING THE ADDITIONAL COSTS,WE CANCELLED,AND RENTED SOMEWHERE ELSE. 10 DAYS LATER I STILL AWAIT THE REFUND OF THE £230 HOLDING FEE. RUBBISH,AVOID,GO ELESWHERE!

Someone is always at the end of the phone to offer guidance or reassurance. The staff who came to the house to value/take photos/show people around treated my property with respect. Having lived here happily for many years, they helped me find the right people to love it when I have moved to my new adventure.
