Nevertheless we received an outstanding service from David Bell who worked tirelessly to oil the wheels of our purchase. On more than one occasion we received calls from him well after the office had closed, to reassure us of something or to impart some information he had discovered. Many thanks to David and the team.

23rd Apr 2026 (12 days ago)Avoid at all costs. I had one of the worst experiences dealing with Palmer Snell, particularly with Adam and his team. Communication was consistently poor — calls went unanswered, updates were unclear, and overall professionalism was lacking. At the start of the purchase, Adam was extremely difficult to get hold of. Then, just two weeks before the supposed deadline, I was suddenly contacted and told everything needed to be completed by Monday. I requested a short extension until Tuesday, which he agreed to. Acting in good faith, I paid all the necessary fees to my solicitor to proceed with the purchase. However, Adam later called once (with no follow-up email or written confirmation) to inform me that the offer had been withdrawn and the property had been given to a higher bidder. This was handled very poorly and showed a complete lack of proper management and communication. As a result, I’ve lost over £1,000 in survey and legal fees — all for nothing. I would not recommend working with this agency and will certainly not be using them again. Based on my experience, the negative reviews they receive are not surprising.

Josh in particular was amazing from start to finish of the buying process getting involved in every detail to make sure that we had covered all bases. It is so refreshing to deal with a team that really know what they are doing and go over the top to give you the best experience possible. Even when it came down to solicitor issues, Josh was the first to put his hand up and track down the issues and solve them immediately. I know I can trust such an amazing team and will definitely pass over additional opportunities to Tailor Made in the future as when dealing with so many customer issues across many vertical sectors, Tailor Made have very much stuck to the basic and right principles of putting the client first and making the whole experience a professional and uplifting one. Harriet was superb in her dealings with us.- 9th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)Had a valuation today from Paul Barron of Connells Weymouth…… I was very impressed. He arrived on time, was impeccably dressed and polite and also asked if it was ok and then removed his footwear as he entered my property…. What a gent ! He had obviously been working hard since I booked the appointment. I thought he would just turn up , look around and give a market “ guestemate ” !!!! He produced a dossier of other properties that were recently on the market, similar to mine and of what value they were on for and on what the initial selling price was and time periods of sale. So I could get a guide of the current market situation. He explained what Connells was all about and also future costs if I decided to go ahead with them , and put my property on the actual market. There was no pushyness, no sales pitch, just straight honest information, making me feel at ease in what can be a daunting situation. If you can’t decide what estate agent to choose, as there are quite a few in Weymouth. I would definitely suggest you give Connells a try. In my opinion 100% professional. Pleasure to meet you Paul. You are a credit to the company. Thanks for your help. Wayne.

The way he promoted our beloved family home with aerial views via drones, and show cased the photos and video really promoted it was amazing, which brought in viewings and finally someone viewed my home three times and an offer was made and we sold it, in the meantime the property I wanted was still for sale, offer went in and today we sit in our new home having moved 24/04/26. Well done Nick it is something to be proud of.
