17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)What a different way to sell a home, with supportive, gentle and trustworthy people. We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.

The Domus team in Wareham, Alison Owens and Trisha Ashby-Rudd, who succeeded in selling my property in Bere Regis were absolutely fabulous from the start to the end of the process. Realistic about the price to ask for and making everything work when I, the client, was beginning to despair. Selling a listed cottage in a conservation area turned out to be even more difficult than I feared it would be. But Domus worked the necessary miracles. I am one super happy customer/client.
9th Jan 2024 (1 year ago)4 months of waiting and still no call back to offer me a premesis. I've taken it upon myself to contact Landlords directly now if I see anything advertised by Goadsby. This is because Landlords of the sites that I've enquired about previously have not received offers or proposed plans passed on to then, yet I'm told they are not interested. Maybe I'm missing something but I don't understand why. Based on this, I would not recommend Goadsby Commercial to anyone if you want a hassle free, simple business transaction.

They were there for us through all the ups and the downs, such as when the original chain collapsed, with great professional advice and they helped us pick ourselves up again & achieve a successful sale. I would particularly like to thank Nicky and Marcus who have been particularly supportive and just all around brilliant! If you are thinking of selling your property, I cannot recommend DOMVS highly enough.

Their handling from start to finish was exemplary; communication couldn't be faulted, and nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. I congratulate and sincerely thank the team, Simon, Matthew and Tracey, for their assistance. I was so pleased with Dixons that I decided to sell my property through them once my new acquisition was nearing completion. I assure potential future clients I was equally satisfied and very pleased with their services and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Not only did she help us find the right mortgage for our circumstances, she also provided plenty of profound advice. She then went above and beyond liaising with and chasing solicitors throughout the whole process, helping to make things smoother and less stressful.

29th Nov 2024 (6 weeks ago)The team at Symonds and Sampson, Beaminster, recently undertook a long and complicated sale of my mother's flat that also involved a Housing Management Association. The whole process took over eight months and ended with a successful completion. It took determination and endurance as we encountered one delay after another! This was met with support, good humour and resilience by all the team. Hardly a day went by when I wasn't given an update by one of them. Thank you to you all but special thanks must go to James for his diligence and patience. We got there in the end!

4th Jan 2025 (9 days ago)We put property on market at suggested price, it took them near to a month to get the property correctly advertised on their site. In close to 5 months we had one viewing and no feedback. I did however hear the viewer making derogatory comments and the agent seemed to agree with them. I was promised a follow up call and it did not materialise When I told them I no longer wished to use them they blamed me saying I didn't take any notice of their repeated suggestions to reduce the price. They had suggested once after one month at the end of August and I had told them lets wait and see after the school holidays are over. They argued and sent me documents purporting to be emails from them which I had genuinely not received. Unlike many people I did ball them out over their poor performance. I was patient and gave them time however once they had got the business their enthusiasm paled. I am sure they did over value the property initially in order to get the business but they are probably not alone in doing this
26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all.
