10th May 2025 (4 days ago)This is a genuine review, unlike so many others, following the successful sale of two properties within the past twelve months. Both properties were sold by Cotswold Estate Agents of Bishops Cleeve Cheltenham on behalf of myself and my wife. The service received by both my wife and myself in selling each of our individual properties was excellent from the time that they went on the market to completion. The presentation of each property in terms of advertising, was as we would wish and we were kept informed by Simon and Sharon of progress throughout the selling process. Both transactions proceeded satisfactory without any undue concern. Accompanied visits with prospective buyers were arranged with our prior knowledge( both properties being vacant at the time) and feedback was provided. From our joint experience Cotswold Estate Agents are highly recommended in alleviating some of the stress when either buying or selling a property.
15th Oct 2020 (4 years ago)We found Michael Tucks Staff very profession, quick service sold our house within four weeks. We bought from a different prominent Estate agency who were half an hour late for the viewing , and kept showing the property we purchase as still for sale even through the sale was agreed. Would never use them although they are the biggest estate agency in our area.

(68 reviews)8th May 2025 (6 days ago)I told them exactly when we could view properties (as we are currently residing in another country) we planned our trip to the uk to see any properties that required in person viewings, they conveniently ignored my emails until our trip was over. They refuse to do any virtual/video viewings. Considering both me and my partner were born in England (both British citizens/residents) I have no idea what the issue is.
17th Jul 2024 (9 mo. ago)The sale of my flat was a long process through no fault of Naylor Powell, but they kept me informed throughout and were on the ball with regards to chasing my solicitor and keeping me updated. The whole process from start to finish was brilliant, from initial valuation to completion. The whole team were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Excellent service!

6th May 2025 (8 days ago)Abigail Sutcliffe was our agent when selling our house. She was very professional and always on hand to promptly respond to queries. Her positive and happy demeanour coupled with experience and knowledge helped to sell our house quickly and to the right buyer. I would highly recommend.
2nd Sep 2023 (1 year ago)Staff were initially very helpful and knowledgeable but when our property was put up for sale we were very disappointed. Photos, measurements etc were taken but we did not have the opportunity to check the details before they put the house on the market. The photos were poor. We told them if the garden was too untidy we’d sort anything out at the weekend but that request was ignored.We weren’t told we had any viewings. The first time we knew that the house had been marketed was when a friend told us that he had seen it online through zoopla. We were very upset about it. I raised my grievance on the Monday I felt we had to remove it from the market.

Every member of staff were so helpful, responded so quickly and the few repairs we needed were dealt with immediately. Thank you all for being so lovely to us, I couldn’t recommend TG Lettings enough ????

They were always pleasant and friendly and swift to deal with emails and to find solutions to problems. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

He goes the extra mile, even picking up keys from my mother's house on one occasion. And is never too busy to answer the phone and do what needs to be done. Can't fault his service.

24th Mar 2025 (7 weeks ago)Fantastic from start to finish. Craig, Melanie, Sarah, and the team were very clear, concise and supportive throughout the whole process. No matter who I was lucky enough to talk to, everyone was so friendly; clearly explaining everything to me in a supportive and non judgemental way. As a first time buyer, I had plenty of questions, but couldn't have asked for anything more! I was fortunate to have a simpler case (no chain on either side). But I and everyone are simply blown away to have everything completed from offer to completion in less than 9 weeks. The process was made so much easier and enjoyable having the Farr & Farr team about, I'm so thankful for their superb knowledge and hard work. I would not hesitate to recommend The Farr & Farr team at Hucclecote 1000 times over. Thank you!

We couldn’t have been more happy with the complete experience; from the initial consultation & valuation through to completion. Liz, Amy and Jason are extremely professional and friendly people. The persistence and support they provided throughout the sale of our property was outstanding. The icing on the cake that they also helped us find our amazing new property. I would highly recommend Whitaker Seager as they are experienced, knowledgeable, highly motivated and have an excellent external photographer. 6th May 2025 (8 days ago)Really disappointed by this estate agency, I am a first time buyer so don’t have much experience with this, but I know it’s not right. I was asked for my best and final offer on a property the same day I viewed it because there was so much interest. He told me the actual value of the other ‘offers’ which were up to 10K over the asking price and said they wanted to go straight in with best and final to ‘avoid a bidding war’. Feeling somewhat pressured, I made an offer. The following day, David called me and told me there was an offer higher than mine and asked for my best and final offer, AGAIN. When I questioned this and referenced his previous comment around wanting to ‘avoid a bidding war’ the previous day, he couldn’t answer me and was abrupt after that. I messaged to confirm I was sticking with my original best and final offer because honestly I didn’t believe them by this point. I then messaged him twice for updates on my offer and they never opened my message or responded. Awful really, and 100% causing bidding wars in bad faith by telling people the value of other ‘offers’. I actively wouldn’t view a house with them again, AVOID! UPDATE 1: Upon seeing their reply to this, which is very defensive - please see screenshots clearly showing I sent my best and final offer the first day as asked, I messaged again the following day confirming again it was my best and final offer after their next call to get me to up my offer - apologised for missing their call and then messaged again for an update, with no response to either… UPDATE 2: Upon seeing they’ve totally deleted their initial, defensive response where they called me a liar twice and said my version of events was a fantasy when it’s all totally true - please see their original response attached, which luckily I screenshot to send to my friends because of how horrified I was. 1. Best and FINAL offer means bid the highest you can and it’s your only chance, which is what they asked me for on day 1 - before calling and asking me if I could up my offer the following day due to higher bids. If this isn’t a bidding war, I don’t know what is. 2. They said I increased my offer, which is a lie because I only submitted one offer on this property as I was told it was best and final. 3. They did not call me twice, they called me once which I missed and replied early the following morning to apologise and advise if they called while I was at work I’d call back - with no response, they didn’t open this message and no further calls or communication. 4. They are using their NOW friendly, political response to this which is visible to do some positive PR on Facebook around trying to help first time buyers ‘understand’ the buying process. I understand what best and FINAL means. Hilarious really after calling me a liar and writing a scathing, unprofessional and frankly shocking response the first time.

Whenever we needed an update or had question, he was on it straight away, which made everything feel a lot less stressful.
