16th Sep 2024 (17 weeks ago)This is a addition to my previous review left 2 years ago. We have bought the property through Clarendons and I can not recommend them enaugh. Especially Jordan who was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much for him and he did everything in order for our sale to be completed as soon as possible. Professional yet very friendly. It was a pleasure to deal with Clarendons, everyone was friendly and professional. I was very surprised when moved in to receive a welcome box with goodies inside. Never seen any other agencies doing that.
17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.
2nd Nov 2021 (3 years ago)I have just purchased a property through Equus Property. Celia was fantastic, she was always available when I needed a question answered, she stayed in regular contact with me from the very first viewing right through to completion. Celia went above and beyond her duties, she helped speed up the process by speaking to solicitors and chasing things up for the vendor and I. I highly recommend Equus Property and when the time comes to move on i would not hesitate in contacting them to market my property. Thank you Celia for all of your help.

4th Jul 2022 (2 years ago)terrible attendance. I was attended by a gentleman and I was very embarrassed. I felt like rubbish. me and my husband were treated like nothing. I believe because we are immigrants. I do not recommend this agency to anyone!

Hector went above and beyond by chasing solicitors constantly, just to make our lives easier. We completed on schedule and are now very happy in our new home. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Freeman Forman and specifically, Hector, to anyone looking to purchase/sell a home.

At all points though the process, the team at Michael Brooker were friendly, approachable, calm, knowledgable, did what they said they were going to do, and did so in a way which retained the deep trust I'd placed in them. Thanks to you all for helping us sell our house, and secure another which we're very grateful to now call home. It means a lot to us, as you know.

I found the two agents Katy and Lauren who were my contacts in the property I purchased, accessible, very communicative and took initiative when I needed it the most. I would highly recommend them.

Every step of the process was very smooth and I had no issues calling the staff at Michael Adey’s as they were all absolutely lovely and always willing to address anything I required . I highly recommend this business to anyone requiring an estate agent .
