Bailey was incredibly proactive, always eager to assist with our requests and even arranged an additional viewing at short notice, which was greatly appreciated.
Nikki was equally fantastic, swiftly handling any small issues and efficiently managing all the "bits and bobs" that came up.

Our purchase was No 5 in a chain of 8 and a very testing deal at times with some fairly complex issues arising elsewhere in the chain very late on. However, they remained professional and contactable the whole time (even though we were not their client), ensuring everyone remained (relatively) calm.

We were looking for a 5+ bedroom plus office property and struggling to find one that met our needs. Hamptons took it upon themselves to "properly" assist and faultlessly arranged numerous viewings and second viewings in a very professional manner. Overall, the experience with Hamptons was excellent. I dealt with Bailey King throughout the process and he kept me updated throughout the entire time and was by far the best agent that I have ever dealt with. My previous local agent could learn lessons from Hamptons on how to treat people as I will now stick with Hamptons following this experience. This is how it is should be done! I wouldn't bother with other estate agents in Tonbridge & T/Wells, Hamptons are better!!! I can say this through sufficient experience... Well done Bailey & thank you.

However due to work circumstances, we had to move abroad, so we placed our trust and home to the letting team at Hamptons Tunbridge Wells
Over the years the level of service has been very professional however we must commend the Property Management team specifically Emma Martin who has been exceptional in managing the issues at our property which made us feel reassured that our home is being taken care off no matter what the circumstances.

We used Hamptons to find out home when I was 30 weeks pregnant with our first born - they were brilliant in helping us find the house we wanted! A couple of things weren't ready for us at the start of our tenancy eg walls wuich had to be painted, which was unfortunate. Not recommend. I had hoped that using a large agency to rent my property whilst overseas would reduce the stress. NOT the case. Every question I ask just gets ignored. It seems impossible to get a straight answer to issues. One chap (a complete misogynist) just ignores me altogether. Go to Savills instead.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend Hamptons to others. Although our local council is Tunbridge Wells and we have several Tunbridge Wells based agents keen to sell our house, Hamptons simply say it is too far for them. Very poor attitude when other Tunbridge Wells agents have been incredibly helpful.

We have worked closely with Hamptons since 2019 when we emigrated to Australia. Being so far away it was really important to use an agent with a great reputation that we knew we could trust. Hamptons have been absolutely first class. Between 2019 and mid 2022 they have secured back to back rentals for our property as well as providing a top tier of property management to sort any issues - large or small. Then at the end of 2022/beginning of 2023 they helped with the marketing and sale of our property with fantastic results. Hamptons International in Tunbridge Wells has just sold our house in Langton Green.
The sale has been a very pleasant experience for us. We have heard, it can be a very stressful and a lengthy affair to sell a house. In this case, though, we have only had a fantastic experience, when Hamptons was taken on to market our house. All the way from, when James Cairns valued our house, to when the whole team at Hamptons was involved in phone calls, arranging viewings etc. etc. The house was only on the market for a few weeks before a buyer was found, and from that point Deborah Hancock handled the direct contact to the buyer and sorted out queries and questions.
Everyone at Hamptons International in Tunbridge Wells has acted extremely professional all the way through the sale, and we can only recommend Hamptons to anyone, who wants to either sell or buy property in the Tunbridge Wells area.

Each and every member of the Hamptons Lettings team is super efficient and very approachable making it possible to quickly build a friendly working relationship.
We bought our first buy-to-let investment some five years ago and have relied on their expertise from the very beginning. As a retired couple Marion and I have been happy to to take care of the overall management of the property but have put our trust in our 'friends' at Hamptons to secure the tenant and in that role they have excelled. Estate Agents don't always have the best reputation but Deborah has totally blown that out of the water and shown us the difference that a pro-active, efficient and helpful Estate Agent can make to a house buying experience. While I can't comment on the company as a whole, our house was sold by Debbie Cobbold (Tunbridge Wells branch). Debbie does the job as it used to be done (and still should be). She is motivated by the desire to see her clients happy and this comes across in everything she does. Debbie sold our house twice, and made a difficult move far easier. I could not recommend her more highly. She is efficient, dedicated and, most of all, very effective. 10/10.

We cannot praise James and his team highly enough, their attention to detail and professionalism was made even more obvious when we were viewing houses through other Agents. They took the trouble to learn about our very old house and we left everything to them.

The team at Hamptons Tunbridge Wells are fantastic. They offer a very friendly, yet professional service and I have used them for two house sales.
The staff are extremely knowledgable and all the sales staff visit new properties taken on to their books to ensure that they can provide prospective purchasers with accurate information and really sell your home.
We have found that purchasers have been well matched to our property and time wasters weeded out! All viewings have been accompanied and we have received honest feedback.
Andrew Farmer has been spot on with his valuations and Debbie Cobbold is an amazing negotiator, who always manages to close the deal. She has many years of experience and can offer invaluable advice.

Having found a new build property which my husband and I had fallen in love with, we needed to sell our house very quickly. We contacted three estate agents in Tunbridge Wells and explained that we were willing to do as they asked if they definitely had people they could contact and who were free to move quickly without a chain. We were assured by all three that this was indeed possible. However Hamptons not only said they could, but acted by making an appointment the very next day. James Cairn arrived, looked around and asked if three other colleagues could also come to the house the following morning, before they were able to take the photos and description of our house, so that they could describe the house over the phone to potential buyers.
Hamptons had five potential buyers at our house within two days. We had a firm offer on the house within four days, from a young couple who were living in rented accommodation locally and at the original price which Hamptons had advised us of in the beginning.
By contrast, we received a letter from one of the other estate agents three days after we had received our firm offer to ask if they could view!
We were kept up-to-date regularly by Debbie Cobbold, who liaised with our solicitors, our new build company and the buyers, whose house I think Hamptons had also sold, informing everyone where we all were in the sale. She also gave us excellent advice about removal firms. The rest of the team were equally great, in that if Debbie or James were not available they all chipped in and you felt everyone worked very much as a team.
I know of two friends who are subsequently moving through Hamptons, who are equally impressed, both selling their houses in days, Both are being able to move into houses they have found and want, as we did.
I don't often give reviews, however, on this occasion I really feel Hamptons deserve this one. They deal with very stressed people every day and never seem to lose their cool. They find time to talk to you and make you feel that you are their only client, when you know they are rushed off their feet. James Farmer, thank you for the advice about the iRobot carpet cleaner, it is working beautifully, alongside the Braava floor cleaner and the robot mower. Like Hamptons I couldn't do without them.
