In what ended up being a seven month process and a very stressful time for my partner and I. Marc went above and beyond in all areas and without his dedication and communication up until the very end, it may not have completed in time. Poppy and I would highly recommend Marc and his team to anyone buying or selling in the Hungerford area.

This agent doesn't have any reviews- 23rd Nov 2023 (8 mo. ago)Just don't go there. Individually very pleasant people, as a firm, hopeless. I engaged them with specific agreed conditions which they all seemed happy with but were totally ignored. They had a tenant in the wings but did not send me any signed hard copy tenancy agreement until the tenant had taken up occupation three weeks previously. They are expensive for poor performance and ignore instructions taking it upon themselves to follow their own devices. Keys taken away preventing cleaners access. More keys cut contra to instruction and overall totally ignored my instructions, contract conditions and expensive to boot.

We were constantly informed on where we were with the purchase of our home which was invaluable to us after the huge let down we had with another agent. 23rd Jul 2024 (4 days ago)They kept us hanging on with a potential buyer who obviously wasn’t going to buy and withdrew after 6 months. We gave Downers the required 4 weeks notice they asked for, and they immediately (same day) withdrew our advert on Rightmove and took down the For Sale sign. They said we would still need to pay them if we found a buyer during that 4 weeks. We eventually sold without an estate agent.
25th Jan 2021 (3 years ago)Did not get the floor plan right. Missed a room. Agent apologised and offered to waive fee and then backed out of it when we took the house off the market.
8th Mar 2022 (2 years ago)Offer accepted on some land, the vendor withdrew from the sale as is their prerogative. The agent chose not to pass the info on for over a week. Unprofessional behaviour.

Negative: They valued our property at an ambitious price which sadly didn't receive any offers, even after reducing the price. Unfortunately a window was left open at the property following a viewing on more than one occasion.

4th Jul 2022 (2 years ago)We bought & sold our last house with Halletts 32 years ago so dealing with them again on our present home made us feel very comfortable. They are a great team, nothing is too much trouble for them. We had viewings very quickly when the house was put on the market and these were all professionally handled by either Graham or his son. We were kept informed after every viewing and once a buyer was found, Graham could always be relied upon to speak to the other agents when there were holdups of any kind. The team are very approachable and we would highly recommend this well established Estate Agents 10/10!!
27th Jun 2024 (30 days ago)We instructed Brearley & Rich after being on the market for 6 months with a different estate agent. We were immediately impressed by their professionalism, as they made a difficult process as easy as it could be for us. For example, after every viewing, we had feedback within the hour, without having to chase them to request it. Their customer service was excellent throughout, they always answered our questions swiftly and returned calls. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Communication was excellent, very quick and any issue dealt with promptly and efficiently. I would pick them without hesitation if I was to let my house again. Well done and thank you!

All calls and emails are dealt with very efficiently and no question seems to be too much trouble. The admin side has been managed efficiently using a dedicated portal and I have been kept updated though every step of the process. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Parker’s and especially Archie.
