My partner and I recently bought a property through Marc Allen and we can safely say, Marc is an excellent estate agent. In what ended up being a seven month process and a very stressful time for my partner and I. Marc went above and beyond in all areas and without his dedication and communication up until the very end, it may not have completed in time. Poppy and I would highly recommend Marc and his team to anyone buying or selling in the Hungerford area.

Knowledgeable staff, a little on the expensive side but it is mostly independent type stock. My dog loves it here, he's always made a fuss of but my wallet cries when I get inside

I had the worst experience renting through them. Twice I woke up to a man stood in my bedroom. Also people letting themselves into the flat when I wasn't at home. I would always leave the doors inside the flat shut to keep the warmth in each room, but would often come home to every door wide open and muddy foot prints on the floors, I filed a police report regarding this. On one occasion I came home to find my laptop screen smashed, of which I have photographic evidence. Also the electric fraud. They were claiming all the electric was being used by the business below. A very high unit rate (19.10p) plus 20% tax (being claimed back through the business) and nearly a £50 standing charge). An utter disgrace. I rented another property for 6 years before choosing this place and have never heard anything like it. Agency didn't care about any of these issues.

He was absolutely brilliant from word go and really helped us deal with issues, that on our own we would have given up on. Marc is extremely professional in his work, and was on call for us even when he was on holiday. I can't reccomend Marc and his team highly enough.

Not sure how they've been rated 5* so far. They seem to want to make life as difficult as possible for tenants, including not doing anything digitally and expecting all transactions to take place at their office. I've never known anything like it.

Rented a property from them and they are very helpful. Have always been able to speak to someone even when calling as late as 7.30PM.
Partner was made redundant and they did everything they could to assist in getting the contract ended early and someone else to take over the property.
Would recommend to anyone looking to rent / buy.
