Ben Rivett was an invaluable source of advice, both at the planning and valuation stages. The quality of his recommendations helped us readily achieve a very good sale. Natalie Howlett- Clarke handled the negotiation and completion stages with great professionalism. Her communication and responsiveness were first rate. Moreover, I really enjoyed working with Ben and Natalie for their friendliness, honesty and good humour, as well as for their high level of professional capability.

8th Aug 2023 (1 year ago)Fantastic estate agents who really know their stuff. I was given honest advice from the offset regarding pricing of my property, the photos and brochure were fantastic. The tram worked really hard and secured an offer before the property even went live. I was regularly updated on progress, Overall great experience would highly recommend.
9th Jan 2025 (15 weeks ago)As part of our retirement plan, we wanted to move back home to West Norfolk from the Chelmsford area. We viewed a William H Brown property in Dersingham but didn't like it due to a damp issue. Then we started getting calls from the Chelmsford branch of William H Brown and what a nuisance they were. We explained over and over again we were moving away from Chelmsford and didn't want to buy a house there. But the calls kept coming. A new person every time wanting to know our current home status, prying for more information. Eventually, we asked for a copy of their complaints procedure and they seemed to get the message and the nuisance calls stopped for a while. Then, when the next call came through we told them we had found a new home and would be moving shortly and the nuisance calls stopped. Although we did get calls from other agents, these were the absolute worst. There was enough stress in the moving process without being pestered and aggravated by agents in the area we were moving away from. We'll never view a William H Brown advertised property ever again.

Many thanks from both us it certainly avoided any prolonged negotiations with the short time frame they brought everything together.

4th Aug 2024 (8 mo. ago)Property went "live" and we had 2 viewings within 24 hours. Our property sold the following day. Buyers had to wait 6 months to move as we had to wait for our new property to be completed. Progress updated to buyer on regular basis and sale went through generally without bother (a few usual bumps in the road with solicitors, etc) but all completed successfully.- 7th Nov 2024 (24 weeks ago)Sowerbys handled the sale of our property excellently. They were professional and worked hard to ensure everything went through swiftly and smoothly.

My old home was definitely sold, not just marketed, and I love that the new owners are looking forward to making new memories in it.
