Not very helpful whatsoever, put an offer in on a property as a cash buyer that these people are marketing over a week ago and NOT heard anything since! Gentleman who I spoke to quite condescending and abruptly answering my questions. Do these people NOT want to sell the properties they are marketing??

I notice the reviews are quite old.
Iam not happy with the agents at the moment. Hopefully things will improve otherwise I may seek alternative.
Several days later after being frustrated about a delay in my ad going back online after losing my buyer, the agents have been very quick at keeping me in the loop, which I appreciate.

Just gone through Abbots of Hunstanton to sell my late mother’s property. I dealt mainly with Gary at the branch, who was very friendly and helpful with the whole process, keeping me informed at every step of selling the house. Nothing was too much trouble for him and other staff members who went above and beyond to help me through the selling process

We first viewed a property with Nick 12 months ago and sadly it sold whist we were on holiday. Garry kept in touch and let us know that it came back on the market, only to sell again. Hollie in the office has been fantastic and we have also viewed other properties in the meantime with Samantha. Third time lucky and they have all played a part in our little bit of fate!! Garry has gone above and beyond in helping the vendor with her legal paperwork and his after sales skills have eventually pushed it through. He has certainly earnt the commission on this sale!!

He is very efficient , does what he says he’s going to do and is an ultimate professional at his job , I recommend him highly if you are buying or selling a property ! I would say his best skill is keeping you on track when you are sometimes a bit down or forget to sign something , like we all sometimes do . He reminds you and even prints paperwork off at this office for you

Not living locally we needed to rely on this excellent service.

Popped in to Abbotts in Hunstanton to discuss a property we had found on Rightmove.
Hollie looked after me and also talked me through other properties they had on their books.
I then visited a few and Hollie was excellent, very good on the details and knowledge of the area etc.

Recently purchased a bungalow in Snettisham, Poppyfields Drive through Abbots Hunstanton. Garry Thompson dealt with our purchase. It was quite involved due to the different request being made throughout the chain. Gary was courteous and friendly in his approach and efficient in keeping us up to date and following up on the progress of our purchase. Although the the issues were quite complex he confidently carried us through the whole process and we now have the pleasure of living in our new home, thanks to his efforts on our behalf.

I have just completed on my mothers bungalow. The service I received from Garry and his team were excellent. I would suggest however never to go with their recommended conveyancing company. They were appalling. Garry went above and beyond in an attempt to sort the conveyancing company.But with no joy. In the end I dismissed the conveyancing company and went with a local solicitor.

We have been gazumpt ! So yes we are gutted !
And we know estate agents have to legally tell the seller of other offers, even though that seller had ACCEPTED our offer. But it’s the appalling way the estate agents spoke to us about it. Interpersonal skills are definitely lacking at Abbots Hunstanton. Your staff need training on talking to customers!!
I stress HUNSTANTON as we are a customer of Abbots Kings Lynn who are exception in everything they do.

Very disappointing. Waiting for an appointment at 930 we gave up at 950. A no show by the agent. We understand that couldn't find the keys to the property, but at least they could have turned and told us. Very poor performance on behalf of Abbots. We found out they phoned us on our land line at 920, knowing that it's at least a journey of 10 mins by car to the viewing. We were at the property by then. Very unprofessional.

Tried to view a property. I'm not sure what happened. Tennant cancelled our viewing. Was told another would be booked. But we heard nothing and property has been let. I get the feeling the Tennant was perhaps not being very accommodating but we could have at least been informed of what was going on. I'm hoping it was perhaps a mix up. But feel honest reviews are important.

Just bought a new house in Old Hunstanton through Abbotts.
The sales guy Alex dealt with our purchase. There was a lot of issues to do with the move and he dealt with them in a professional and friendly manner. He even went out of his way to check the property for us as it was empty for a while.

I both sold and bought a house through Abbotts Hunstanton.
The sale was incredibly quick and smooth. Within a couple of days of the house going up for sale we had viewings and we completed on the sale shortly afterwards. In fact it was so quick that we had to move into rented accommodation whilst we completed on the purchase of our new home, which was dragging on!
The purchase of our new property through a different agent did not go well and fell through unfortunately, due to structural problems. At this point, having sold our house, we were very worried about what we were going to do next! However, the team at Abbotts knew our requirements and found us the perfect property which we immediately put an offer on. Our offer was accepted and we completed - Abbotts made the process stress free and we really couldn't be happier with our amazing new home.
I would definitely recommend Abbotts Hunstanton for anyone thinking of buying a property or selling their home.

As executor of my Mum's estate I was very happy with the way that Abbotts at Hunstanton handled the sale of my Mum's bungalow. The photos and presentation for sale were excellent and I was kept informed of arranged viewings by email and text. All staff were very helpful. Most of my dealings were with Amy and Oliver, who were both excellent, dealing with my queries in a friendly and professional way. Liaison between Abbotts' offices at Hunstanton and Burnham Market (the office handling my buyer's house sale) made for a smooth sale. I would recommend them to anyone looking to sell a property in West Norfolk.
