Their Mortgage advisor Sarah was exceptional and with ingenuity and persistence she was able to obtain a mortgage for our new property even though it was a challenging property to get a mortgage on. By shopping around and using her contacts she secured us a really good deal. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Slater Hogg services.

I'm so very sad that these guys have turned out to have horrible ethics surrounding their letting service. My daughter has moved into a flat let by Slater Hogg & Howison and a week on, she's still scrubbing the place. The carpet is urine soaked, the furniture is urine soaked, the appliances had so much mould, it's cost her a fortune in cleaning supplies and endless hours of scrubbing. My daughter is so sweet, flexible and accommodating. This is actually breaking her. She's got to come and stay with me until someone does the decent thing and makes it liveable. She's not asking for much, just a urine/mould free living area. The carpet should have been replaced, the appliances decontaminated or replaced and all furniture disposed of. My heart is breaking for her. She'll be the best tenant they could ever ask for and she just feels taken advantage of. No-one was expecting perfection, but a bit of decency and dignity is surely not too much to ask for. I'm stunned at just how terrible it is. She's had a really rough go of things lately and was so excited to make a fresh start.

We are in the process of selling our house through Slater Hogg in Kirkcaldy and we cannot recommend them enough. From the get go they have been excellent. We had our property on the market within 1 week of starting the process and they managed to find us a buyer within a week of being on the market. We dealt with Douglas initially for valuations and photographs and he was so professional and friendly. Once we got on the market we have dealt with Ann and Jade and the communication has been second to none. We have called a few times with different questions and nothing is ever too much trouble. Rates are very competitive and the staff will do whatever they can to help you. Could not recommend them enough.

Will never buy a house if Slater Hogg Kirkcaldy are the agents.
Buying a new property isn’t exactly the easiest experience but Slater Hogg Kirkcaldy made the experience even worse.
Never kept me updated or returned our calls, blunt and lack of interest on the phone when they did call us back. Even our Mortgage advisor made a complaint to Slater Hogg Kirkcaldy about the service they provided. We lost out on our dream property due to their lack of communications!.

I am a first time buyer who viewed a property that Slater Hogg (Kirkcaldy branch) were selling in Kirkcaldy. I was very impressed with the speed at responding to my queries and arranging viewings at short notice. I had a lot of contact with a sales consultant, Louise Lambert who would keep me up to date with the progress of my offer as well as keeping me in the loop about the status of an ESW1 report. I found her to be very responsive and helpful in all my dealings with her and the rest of the team in the office. I also obtained mortgage advice from Terry Ford who has been very helpful in terms of not just my mortgage but also setting up life insurance and critical illness cover. I found that he took his time to find the best deals on the market and went over and above the services of any other mortgage adviser (as this was my second meeting with a mortgage adviser). I am very impressed and will use them for my own sales in future and have already recommended them to family and friends.

Wow, what a difference!!
We're relocating back into Fife from England and dealt with quite a few agents & have to say that Louise in Kirkaldy office was very efficient and so on the ball compared to the others. Knew her (their) properties and pulled out the stops so that we could view a property that day-as we were sitting in the car park of the hotel on our way home to Norfolk. This is after a week or more of being let down or dealing with lack lustre competitors. We viewed, loved and offered and are absolutely delighted that the offer was accepted.

Probably the most professional team I have ever sold a property through. From beginning to end it has been a very pleasant experience. Roger has handled all my queries and set up with skill and speed. The photographer did an amazing job with the photos and video, very skilled. Louise has held my hand (albeit remotely) through arranging the viewings to the sale and kept me smiling throughout. Tony certainly exceeded all expectations on the 1st day of viewings, turned out we only needed the one day before it was sold! He didn't stop from morning till evening not even for a refreshment break...what a superstar. He's one of the best salesmen I have met and even dropped by the house to congratulate us on the sale. Julie is a force to be reckoned with and will ensure the process is totally pain free and will shield you from any unnecessary aggravation. Wow.. From expressing my interest in a property advertised by Slater Hogg & Howison Sales & Letting Agency Kirkcaldy at 9:30am yesterday morning, they were able to support me in arranging a virtual viewing at 1pm that day. They then helped me get a mortgage approval in principal in place, the offer then being passed to the seller and accepted, then arranging a solicitor to be able to finalise the offer in writing all by 2:30pm on the same day. This was all done remotely whilst I was out at work in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean which is nothing short of incredible. Has to be some kind of record surely..!!

Had 3 Estate agents out to value my property. 1 other large High St company and 1 internet based.
From the first telephone call I had, to ask for a valuation I felt they sounded the more professional of the 3.
All meetings were on time, every phone call answered quickly. I never felt they were rushing things or me.
The speed they managed to get my house on the market from taking photos to being live on Rightmove was incredible.
I accepted an offer on my property 72hrs after they had been in to take the photos and Slater Hogg managed to get me a fantastic offer which was 20K over what the internet based company told me was the ceiling price for my street.
I had great service throughout my dealings with Slater Hogg, they regularly phoned me to let me know what steps were coming up next and to reassure me that all was still on track for the moving date as they were also in contact with my buyer.
Can't praise them enough and worth every penny.
Best in Kirkcaldy area in my experience.

The staff at SH&H Kirkcaldy are super friendly and welcoming.
I dealt mostly with Sarah, she recommended our mortgage advisor, Terry Ford, and Solicitor, George at Bell&Craig, and the service from both of them was 1st class.
Sarah would also send me details on new properties coming on the market. We were registered with a few agency's and she was the only one that keep us informed...so thank you Sarah...you service was 100%!

This young dynamic team are really professional, very upbeat and extremely kind and helpful.
They took us through every aspect of our sale starting with really professional photos of our property, expertly detailed description and then on to the sale itself with constant support from all of the staff, the actual offer on our property came in two days after listing....

From start to finish the service and professionalism has been superb. Everyone we have dealt with has been friendly efficient and dedicated to our sale. They have also gone the extra mile to deal with the purchase of our new home despite it being handled by a competitor, who I have to say were rude and very unhelpful to say the least.

Slater Hogg recently sold our home for us. I have to say their service was first class, they had viewers lined up for our house going on the market. First two people who viewed our house put an offer in and the house was sold within 4 days. They advised us on things to do to help sell the house and were always at the end of the phone if we had any questions. They even had a better idea of what was happening with our missives than our solicitors did. All the staff were more than happy to help if we had any questions. I would definitely recommend them.
