Big thanks to Sam especially
The most prefesional estate agent i have personly came ecross in my whole life .
Wuld recomend to evryone
Vague, Expensive, and intrusive.
Check-out costs - you pay for the privilege of leaving the property; and the cost - who knows until you don't get back some of your deposit ! Renewal costs - you pay for someone to send you a web link to an automated document signing tool.
Expect to pay ....and pay you will.
New tenant viewings of the property are extremely intrusive and persistent. If you like confirming bookings, and then have secret extra ones added in without you knowing - these are the letting agents for you. We had 3 extra ones in and around the confirmed booking - how lovely.
If you want a straight forward, professional, and respectful letting agent - I suggest you save your money and buy a house instead.
*N.B our landlord was OK - the agent wasn't !
Excellent service from Darren from start to finish. We bought and sold our house through him. He kept us regularly informed with progress on both sides. He couldn't do enough for us. Both Darren and Megan would always welcome us when we popped into his shop. We would definitely recommend him. Thank you!
Poor service and very rude, would avoid at all cost! They lost us ££££'s and now going to go to court to get this back! Unless you want to lose money, don't use this agents at all!
Excellent service. I purchased my new house through Country Properties in Knebworth. It was my first house purchase so I wasn't sure of the procedure, but Country Properties guided me through everything well. Very friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them.
I had great dealings with these guys and dealt with my property very quick and great customer service.
Had a very unpleasant buying experience with ABC. The agent Gino called me every day, hassling me for updates despite telling him to contact my solicitors instead as they would have the latest news before I did. He uses very old fashion estate agent techniques. He kept pushing for an unrealistic completion date. But once completed and exchanged, the vendors were still staying at the property for another two weeks because they needed time to pack. Very unorganised and selfish. If buying through this agent, I would suggest to prepare yourself for the hassle they will create.
Belvoir it's a great agency. I have rented a flat for the past two years and there have never been any problems with THIS agency.I would especially like to thank Julie, for the fact, that despite my poor English, she always helped me, advised me and responded very quickly when something happened and always with patience and a smile on face.Thank you very much to everyone.
I had recently been in contact with Belvoir regarding a property I was renting. I would firstly like to comment by explaining how poor their customer service was. When issues arose in the property I was residing in, no information was passed onto the landlord. There was a total lack of communication. Secondly their staff, were incompetent and had very little 'people-skills'. They were very abrupt, mainly Linda and Sabrina. Their finance department was very rusty as when rent was paid for the property, notifications of overdue rent were wrongly issued.
Belvoir has bought out Mather Marshal's portfolio and both have surprisingly disgusting attitudes to those who rent. I had witnessed through my in-store encounters how staff treat others, especially students whom are looking to rent private accommodation for the first time. I have heard encounters where students have been charged guarantor fees multiple times due to mistakes made on the staff's side.
I would recommend potential buyers to be aware of the tactics used by both Belvoir and Mather Marshal. Having experienced staff make borderline racist comments to customers (in store) I would suggest a different estate agent be used (unless you are lucky enough not to experience all these things).
Best of luck to those who are looking to buy/ rent.
