Our experience renting from Alexander Bond has been brilliant. The move was organised quickly over the Christmas period and there was no problems at all. Conor was extremely helpful, even in some rather difficult circumstances. We broke down on our move in day but he remained available long after working hours to help us. The welcome gift box was also a lovely touch and was much needed after a stressful day! I have used Alexander Bond & Co since 2006 when me and my husband bought our first house. Then in 2023 decided to sell the house and Conor and Gino helped me with all the process. Unfortunately we were in a chain and as we wanted to continue with the sale in 2024 Gino and Conor helped me to find a place to rent so the sell could go ahead and we had time to start looking for a new house. A year later 2025 and voilà we are in a new house. Conor and Gino have always be really helpful with all the process from beginning to end. They are friendly and reliable and they will make sure you find the house you need and like. During all these years I could not have asked for a better state agent to help me with all that has happened in our life from first house to rent and new house. Gino is to avoid. Not only I think he disclosed confidential details that I mentioned to him to another agency, that's why I received some strange calls today but is full of himself and you can see from his behaviour that he's a ruthless person and will do anything for the sake of winning an extra penny. He is not using neither lawful nor ethical means of real estate tactics, he acts like a crook instead. He keeps on talking, looking so arrogant and superior to people, like he's doing you a favour only by talking to you. But he lies a lot, he thinks he knows everything when he knows the contrary. And he forgets that he makes a living with his actual/potential customers' money. I know most people are dishonest but he's one of the nastiest I ever met. And if you disagree or tell him something he dislikes, he doesn't even reply to your email anymore. I have met his son too who's an extraordinary person, polite and friendly and seems to be very knowledgeable, although he's very young. He should be the one running the business as he's got both ethics and morals, unlike the father.... Read more

Not very nice individual that I spoke to, I called on behalf of my father about a rental property, he said very rudely “right one person in a 5 person house?”, I explained he has children who will visit and not live there permanently. I’ve called Atleast 6/7 other estate agents and no one questioned it or was rude about it. As he has pets they said the landlord doesn’t want pets which is fine I said thank you that’s fine very nicely to him even though he was rude and he proceeds to hang up on me. Don’t work in a job like that if you have no people skills???... Read more

Was tenants of Gino & Conor for a year and a half and they were only ever a call or email away and got things sorted very swiftly and efficiently. We never felt like we couldn’t tell them anything and they were quick and polite in getting back to us every time. All round good people and what you want from an agent - thanks guys! Edit 25 November 2021 - It's been a number of years since I last rented with, or spoke to Gino & Conor. I've rented a number of properties in the meantime and also bought my own. I can still without question of a doubt say that Alexander Bond & Co were the best to deal with in this time. Tried to purchase a property from this company for the asking price. However, Gina (owner/manager) informed me that they wanted £10k more than what the vendor was asking for. Subsequently, we withdrew our offer, due to dirty old style estate agent tactics being used. For example Gina responses - we have had a higher offer than asking price and there is three people offering/bidding. The house we wanted to buy stayed on the market a further two months and finally sold. I would reluctantly sale or purchase from this agent, as you may loose buyers or get ripped off.... Read more

Had a very unpleasant buying experience with ABC. The agent Gino called me every day, hassling me for updates despite telling him to contact my solicitors instead as they would have the latest news before I did. He uses very old fashion estate agent techniques. He kept pushing for an unrealistic completion date. But once completed and exchanged, the vendors were still staying at the property for another two weeks because they needed time to pack. Very unorganised and selfish.
