4th Feb 2025 (11 weeks ago)Latterly we dealt primarily with Jack who was excellent. He kept us informed of each stage in a difficult process and was sympathetic when the progress faltered. All staff in the Gosport branch of Fenwicks were helpful and well informed and communicated efficiently.

I would highly recommend them.They take pride in their sales and purchases, they help to relieve the stresses of moving house. We felt sure as soon as we met them that they were the right team, and our instincts were spot on. We used them to sell my elderly mother’s house where she had been for over 60 years. From the initial proceeding when John came to value the house to Selina and Kirsty showing prospective buyers around to Chantelle doing all the conveyancing at the end and all the rest of the team, they all put her at ease and very aware of unsettling but exciting the next chapter of her life would be.Chantelle is a godsend They were prompt in response to emails and made the whole process seamless with a professional demeanor when dealing with awkward buyers and slow solicitors. Everybody was there to lend a listening ear, offer up advice when I needed it and kept me abreast of any given situation. They all emit a sensitivity, understanding and kindness that help you smile in those stressful moments. They are prepared to help with anything that is over and above their work, their negotiation skills are second to none Pick Chapplins and Chapplins don’t change your ethos you are a winning team Thank You from the bottom of our hearts

From the moment Danielle came and valued our house I have nothing even remotely bad to say about our experience with RPS. They were communicative from the outset, keeping us informed with what was happening in the chain. When we (frequently) popped into the office they were always very professional, friendly and helpful. I must give a mention to Imogen who also great. Overall I would recommend RPS to anyone wanting to sell their home.

Lizzi and the team were really friendly and provided a great service. If we ever need to rent again we'll definitely look to do it through them.

9th Feb 2025 (11 weeks ago)Landlord charged us for not trimming a tree at the end of tenancy. Quotes we received from gardeners were between £300- £500- this was not a reasonable cost hence we left it untrimmed. We appealed with deposit protection but lost the case as 'garden was in worse state that at the beginning of tenancy'. Very disappointing. We had many tenancies before in different places and always treated flat/ house like our own and looked after it. We have never before had anything deducted from our deposit and I thought it was unreasonable to do so, I believe landlord was setting a precedent with us, I don't think any landlord would ever expect you to spend more than half of your rent to trim the tree! By the way we've seen property recently and noticed tree was completely removed- it's a shame as it was a beautiful conifer and gave a nice shade from neighbours. Shame on you SBK! We will not recommend you to anyone.

Michelle Tattersall could not have been more supportive and proactive in chasing the Seller's solicitor and our own solicitor (who caused the most problems). Highly recommend Michelle and her team. Thanks again for helpful us through such a stressful time!
10th Apr 2025 (15 days ago)Unfortunately we’re having ongoing issues with Eckersley white (in the process of seeking legal advice). Natalie in particular, ignores my emails regarding making a complaint and having money we are owed held from us. Rory (the manager) is incredibly rude over emails sent to me. I’m often waiting weeks for a response and then I have to chase it up before getting a reply. Honestly the worst estate agents I have ever dealt with and would highly NOT recommend them.- 30th Jan 2021 (4 years ago)Good agent and fees. Kept you updated with feedback from prospective buyers. They were consistently responsive and provided invaluable advice at every step. If you're looking for exceptional stress-free service, look no further.
19th Mar 2025 (5 weeks ago)I'd like to start this review by saying that Tilly and Sarah in the sales team were a pleasure to deal with and a credit to their industry. We recently purchased a property through Charters and despite our initial positive impression through the sales team, we had several issues with the sales progression team. We were repeatedly mislead, lied to and pressured into time and financial commitments. The sales progression team lost control of our purchase and kept lying to us to 'keep us on the hook'. We had undue pressure put on us to financially commit despite being in full knowledge that the sellers were lacking behind, repeatedly telling us that we don't want to be the reason to hold up the sale. This happened on several occasions where they were lying to not only ourselves, but our solicitors. It reached such a level we had to escalate our case to senior management. I'd be very wary trusting Charters to sell a property which is one of the most important and stressful times. Unfortunately, they have reinforced the stereotype around estate agents and we would be reluctant to purchase a property listed by Charters in the future.

Danielle's helpfulness and patience stood out, especially as I inundated her with numerous questions. She has an exceptional ability to make clients feel at ease and is genuinely attuned to their needs. Her expertise in her role is commendable, and she certainly deserves recognition for her outstanding service. I have been thoroughly impressed with the level of customer care she has provided, and because of her support, I am eager to collaborate with Rok Marsh in securing a property. They never once made me feel be littled and always had my best interest at heart. Recommend to anyone buying or selling, would like to do it all again, and if i win lottery I'm coming back.
