29th Oct 2024 (16 weeks ago)DR Kivell demonstrated a disgraceful lack of communication and misled me as a potential buyer after cancelling an auction. They were lazy and did not make much, if any effort to get competing offers. I am not sure they represented their client very well to get the best price. I was an unencumbered cash buyer and they could not be bothered to let me know what was going on with the sale of the property despite having a viewing in the diary and shown a lot of interest. I have made a formal complaint but David is now said to be on annual leave for 3 weeks so make your own interpretation of this. Seriously best avoided.

I don’t normally write reviews, but my experience with my mortgage advisor, Graham Walsh, has been so outstanding that I felt the need to recommend him to everyone. From start to finish, he has been incredibly professional, efficient, and approachable. The whole process felt smooth and stress-free thanks to his expertise and dedication. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need of a mortgage advisor.
27th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)Wish I could’ve bought through the local estate agent; Brunel Estate Agents. Ideal Homes epitomise a big company that know nothing about the property, the area or any legal requirements. They market properties with gardens that aren’t owned by the property, don’t bother advertising the parking at properties with parking in areas where parking is at a premium. When they accept your offer they wait weeks to actually send the memorandum of sale, then during the sale don’t bother to keep you up to date, chase the seller or update you on changes such as the seller pulling out! Total incompetence on every level. Wouldn’t buy or sell with them even if they paid me to.- 26th Oct 2024 (16 weeks ago)I cannot praise Stratton Creber, Liskeard, highly enough. Everyone was so professional, friendly, and efficient. Sue especially, was absolutely brilliant, in my view she went that "extra mile," and "above and beyond the call of duty." There were several extraneous issues and problems which had to be dealt with, some of which were not exactly within Sue's remit. However, she dealt with them, and got them resolved. Moving house is always very stressful. On occasions, I would have a "wobble," thinking that we'd never reach the point at which we are now. But, I was always reassured that we would get there, and sure enough, we have done. I cannot thank the team enough - Finn, Jamie, and especially Sue, for all that they have done. I would definitely recommend Stratton Creber. ???? Thanks again, team.

After having a truly horrible experience with an independent estate agent in Helston, we couldn't have been happier or more relieved than when we decided to call in the professionals. From the start, Ben from Jackson-Stops was able to identify where the previous agents were failing and knew exactly how to rectify the situation. He predicted that they would secure a sale within the month and that we'd be beginning the next chapter of our lives in the autumn, and that's exactly what he delivered. They are a very friendly team and extremely conscientious. We really couldn't have been happier with how the house sale went and their recommendation of a solicitor was also spot on. Thank you Ben, George and the rest of the Truro team. We wouldn't hesitate to use you again.

I feel sorry for the property owners who are selling through them. I will not be buying through them that's for sure. Stay away property sellers.
11th Jun 2024 (8 mo. ago)The Pilkington sales agent was very enthusiastic and confident and the outcome was that they achieved their valuation. However their positive 'leave it to us attitude', while it achieved the positive result did mean that we weren't fully aware of how the sale was being handled and they needed reminding to progress the memorandum of sale.
