Thanks Danny, Ruby, and Elliot - getting my flat listed was an absolute breeze, with viewings booked in immediately (and I mean immediately) followed by getting offers within 2 weeks. I was prepared for the listing process to take a couple months at the least, but everything moved at an incredible speed. Danny was able to suggest a listing price that felt realistic and took into account nearby flats of a similar size. Elliot and Craig also deserves a huge shout out for ensuring completion went smoothly in our chain. There were a couple points where I got genuinely concerned at the status of the chain, but they were all on hand to ensure everything kept chugging along and to chase the relevant parties. Would definitely recommend John Alexander as they're priced competitively, are very responsive, and genuinely helpful.

Peter is a good communicator which helps to keep the sales process moving along. Peter keeps me informed of new properties coming to the market that may suit my clients. I have done a number of deals with Peter in the last couple of years and my clients have all been happy with the properties and the process. He has a thorough knowledge of the area and the market enabling me to have confidence in the properties that he offers me so that I do not waste mine or my clients time. Tommy’s appraisal was a great first impression, and there was a clear distinction between their service and others we’d invited to appraise. They gave us actionable advice to prepare us for market and give us the best chance. This followed through to those in the office, who cared and knew about our sale in detail and gave us reassurance we were going to be well looked after. Thank you to Clare in particular. Andy conducted most of our viewings and was knowledgeable, and positive and we knew had provided an excellent experience for potential buyers, based on feedback. Finally, Will was invaluable in aftercare and kept us in the loop without chasing, a pleasure to deal with. An exemplary service from all and we’d have no hesitation in recommending them.

6th Jul 2024 (21 days ago)Having lost my father then having to administer his estate which included the family home of over 50 years, selling was never going to be an easy decision to make. Not sure what to do, I gave Palmer & Partners a call as I had already had a previous positive experience buying with them. On contacting them, empathy and compassion was instantly shown and they could not have been more helpful. They arranged a valuation and discussed the next steps providing options that we could take. All this was conducted with no pressure and with compassion and empathy. Our family decided to sell with Palmer & Partners who provided a very realistic market value, and provided expert advice on when it was best to put the property on sale to maximise the asking price and chance of a sale. They found a buyer very quickly, and multiple offers were forthcoming. They were professional in advising on each buyers curcumstances and helped us come to a decision armed fully with the facts. Unfortunately the Probate process took almost eight months. Despite this they kept in contact with us fully during the process which of course was a difficult time and showed the upmost patience and kept the buyer on side. I could not fault the service I had in any way and would not hesitate to recommend Palmer & Partners as a top choice to use when selling or buying a home. Top marks P&P!

My water pipe burst under the sink and water was flooding into my kitchen. Mel and the team arranged an emergency plumber to be with me in just 25 mins. They are still the same bunch of people who will try to rip you off on every single occasion. Please avoid at all cost. There are plenty good agencies out there

She is professional with a very friendly manner. She got back to me very promptly with any questions I had that couldn't be answered at the time.

23rd Dec 2021 (2 years ago)Huge thank you to both Peter and Samantha for being absolute angels during the most stressful move ever! They were beyond understanding and accommodating when things went wrong multiple times and didn't end up getting to view the place before moving in, but I really felt like their work ensured that I wasn't getting any less in terms of service. Thank you especially to Samantha who was so kind and waited for me to get my cat up to Colchester by train after my movers let me down twice. She is such a kind, lovely person to have been in contact with for this, and I wish her all the best!
27th Jun 2024 (30 days ago)Absolute shambles of a company. Your property will have nothing but issues from the moment you move in. When we moved in the oven was not working, the fridge compartments were broken, the bed was broken along with the clothes rail and chest of drawers. Despite reserving the property two months prior! Then we were told that they had too many clients so were unable to look at each property properly. (shambles in of itself!) whilst living here the washing machine broke down and it took them SIX WEEKS before we had a new one. A lot of money spent having to travel to laundrettes and asking people if we could take suitcases of washing to theirs in order to clean our clothes. Constant issues with the shower and hot water in the property, ongoing flow of water in en-suite shower, every time having to call to get a contractor to come and temporarily fix the issue (the only time they will get it done quick because the water bill is tied to the landlord, certainly didn’t move that quick with the washing machine.) Try to treat full time working tenants the same way they do their students and provide disgraceful properties that have consistent issues throughout the 12 months and hope that you won’t complain and will give them over all your money like students will. Avoid this company like the plague. Will be reporting them to the local council and presenting all these issues to my solicitor. If you want a terrible rental experience then leaders is the place to be!

This was achieved without any major problems and we must thank them very much for their service, and for suggesting the lawyers to use as they were completely "on the ball" and answered every query immediately, as we answered them back in return. The subsequent questions raised by the searches were quickly resolved amicably with our buyers through the professionalism of the solicitors and here we are now passing our property over to the new buyer. Thank you Belvoir.
