Yep bought a house from them. Friendly service and they call when they say. Did negotiations with their manager and came away satisfied that I got the best deal I could..
Unhappy with T Payne . But agent refused to end contract unless I paid him. By refusing to end our contract we now have to stay off the market until the contract expires, this is very spiteful and petty.
Sellers beware. All was well until we started asking questions . I thought we had engaged an agent to sell our house not to tell me who I could and could not talk to. Agent does not like you to communicate with your buyer as you may tell the truth. Apparently telling the truth to your buyer can loose you the sale.Being dishonest gives the same result!! Independent estate agents in my opinion are not a good idea as you have no one to complain too at a head office, they can basically do what they want and there is no redress. Most agents are quite happy to end the contract if you are not happy with them or, better still if you want an independant go for an agent who does not tie you into a long contract, such as Maxey Grounds who have an open contract.. Your only course of redress is the Ombudsmen.
I've recently put my house on the market and am searching in and around the March area. I cannot stress enough how customer focused Issy is, and her plight to try and find us the perfect house. Nothing is too much trouble and she is even looking at bus routes for my son to get to college! Our latest viewing with Russell was a pleasure. Even locating 15 miles up the road, we needed information on the area, that Russell was able to provide in abundance. Thank you Issy and Russell. I've not met any other estate agent who meets your enthusiasm and dedication to meeting your customers need.
Our experience started off well but quickly deteriorated. We were trying to sell our flat with Haart. Felt like they were working against us, not with us. It was an uphill struggle to get feedback from a viewing and would deal with every one in the office with little communication between them. When we had secured a property we were told there was "no pressure" and "no rush" to sell ours as the person we were buying from had found no where, by this time we had been on the market for 6 months. Would not recommend!
