23rd Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)We have recently been in a very difficult position as my mam was evicted from The Slipway, Whitehaven. The Grisedales team, especially Debs and Daria have been fantastic in helping us rent and then buy a property within 4 weeks. They went above and beyond what would be expected of an estate agents. Would definitely recommend using their services.

Special shout out to Louise for continuously supporting us and helping us make our dream into a reality. Also Hillary you were right when you said you thought we’d buy it because we did! You really put into perspective what we could do with the house to really make it our new home. Thank you all so very much!!!
20th Jul 2023 (1 year ago)PFK have worked as a close-knit team, able to answer questions, instigate viewings, take pro-active decisions and actions to ensure that they have achieved excellent results. A hardworking team, all ready and able to take away the hassle and stress often associated with house selling. They are all undaunted with the problems of selling our house, actively searching for appropriate buyers and weeding out those who are not relevant, as well as aging the best price. 11th Nov 2024 (24 weeks ago)Excellent service and quick to respond to request for market appraisal of my property. Nicola was the complete professional, friendly and well informed about the area so able to suggest a clear marketing strategy if I was to go ahead with sale. Also offered advice on what would be required (or not) in order to achieve the best for the property. Still deciding whether to go ahead, but would be more than to use their services or recommend.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

31st Jul 2024 (8 mo. ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
