It’s not easy to find a decent estate/letting agency but they have a "no responsibility" clause in their terms of business, which means that you have no comeback if they fail to do a job properly. Keep yourself updated about changes in the law.
21st Jan 2022 (2 years ago)The most rubish estate agent i have ever seen. They only work for comission from landotds, they don’t care about tenants. All tenants just be careful. At first they look ok but this is only fake protend.

Rachel Martin is my contact and the service I receive from her is first class. Nothing is too much trouble nd whatever task I ask her to deal with, the attention to detail and quickness of response is excellent. Before retirement I was responsible for the training & personnel arrangements of 2,300 staff, so I know what I am talking about. Rachel Martin has the ability to ensure prospective clients, whether buying or selling, are 'put at ease' and quickly realise that they are going to receive excellent service. She is a valuable asset to Bridgfords, and not someone who could be easily replaced. Well worth ensuring her career path is positive, not only for her benefit but also that of Bridgfords.

The valuer was honest and gave tip's on how to present the property to highlight it's best features. All communitcation was clear and accurate right through to completion.... and we recieved a very good offer very early in the process. The sale went very smoothly from beging to end

From honouring a previous quote to fantastic support in the final weeks to completion - the team at the Ingleby Barwick branch have been so efficient, professional, kind and informative. Great marketing, sound advice and support in securing solicitors, they have held our hand through the whole process, making something that can be stressful, easy. A special thank you to Andrea, who always returned my calls, was understanding, empathic and for whom no question was too silly! Highly recommended local firm who know the market.

Shaun Harris was very reliable and professional throughout and when unavailable the rest of the team were very helpful and also professional. Communication was seamless and responded to all our enquiries quickly. The whole team made selling our home an easy stressless experience. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. 1st Jun 2022 (1 year ago)I have made a big investment with Alesco and they absolutely let me down. They provided very poor investment advice which resulted in a big financial loss. I doubt if I ever get my money back. Additionally, some 30 investors that were invested in the same investment had big financial loss as well. The business model of Alesco is based on very aggressive marketing. They put much pressure on you to buy, and the only thing they care about is sales at the expense of the investor. They are immoral and do not care about you and your hard earned money. I have been trying to reach out and talk to them but they avoid and lie to me systematically. I left another review in the past which was positive, but it was very early on and before I realised what is going on and lost my money. Never invest with Alesco.

I've lived in rented homes for almost 30 years and the landlord/agent is usually hard work. But not this time. A special shout out to Charlotte for her approachability, knowledge and professionalism... and also for really understanding the rental experience from both the landlord and the tenant's points of view. Highly recommend as a trusted agency.

My viewing was arranged in literally the same day we managed to make an offer on the very day. She kept on communicating with us the whole time. Everything was managed and all the paperwork was carried out very quickly as well. I love the apartment I moved in, Thank you very much for all your support and effort. We are enjoying our new residence.

The marketing showcased our property in the best possible way and all viewings were carried out in a professional and friendly manner. There was great communication both before and after any viewings which meant that a buyer was found very quickly. All in all, a very positive experience and I would highly recommend Harvey Brooks estate agents to anyone looking to sell their home.
