Rachelle and Stuart were incredibly professional, treating all interested parties honestly and fairly and thereafter super accommodating in facilitating access for various reasons pre-sale. Their paperwork and thoroughness was also first rate. Would strongly recommend!
18th Jan 2024 (14 weeks ago)Barrington & Company have a well earned right to be the No 1 Estate Agent in Petworth, surrounding areas and West Sussex. Nigel expertly helped us find the perfect purchaser for a remote farm house with 27 acres of land. Despite a generally sluggish market he created allot of interest and offers culminating in a winning asking price offer. The service didn't end there because Nigel was on hand to guide both parties through the sale process to a conclusion that left everyone very happy - not an easy task. I recommend Barrington & Co and know that the service and property skills they provide their Clients will be rewarded.

30th Nov 2021 (2 years ago)I have no hesitation in recommending RH and RW Clutton. They were always there to answer queries and guided me through my house sale. They were extremely Covid aware and their protocols were excellent. It’s safe to say mine was not an easy sale, but they never gave up or lost interest. Moving house is a costly business but I most certainly did not begrudge paying them their commission as they well and truly earned it. Thank you so much Peter and Pippa.

13th Apr 2024 (11 days ago)If I could give less than 1 star I would. I have been a tenant in an Hancock and Partners flat for 4 years now. In that time I have them and contractors enter the flat without the OK to do so. I have multiple late/missed appointments and inspections with no heads up of the cancellations - the latest cancellation happening because the staff members electric car wasn’t charged up. Building internal and external maintenance issues are hardly ever fixed, and if they are it takes an absolute age. And lastly, the staff are extremely rude and patronising. If you are looking to rent in Chichester and surrounding area, I urge you to stay away from this agency. As an example of how this company acts - our roof began to leak in the winter, with the water sparking the electrics in the ceiling, coming through the fire alarm fixtures and entering our property. Hancocks reply to our landlord regarding the situation was ‘tell them to stick a bucket under the leak and get on with it’. There has been numerous example of malpractice, but this is just one in a long line of them.

Their attention to detail, knowledge of the property, and excellent communication skills have all contributed to an outstanding performance. I would happily recommend Henry Adams at Midhurst to any one wishing to sell in the area.

24th Jul 2023 (9 mo. ago)Knight Frank were absolutely brilliant. Kate Erlam was completely amazing and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone. They were far superior to any other estate agents we dealt with, highly professional but also friendly and very understanding when we had to delay due to mums illness and didn't pressure us at all. I honestly don't know how we would have got through the moving process without Kate. Thank you so much to Kate and everyone else we dealt with at Knight Frank.

12th Apr 2024 (12 days ago)Seymours is a company I would recommend although their initial valuation was a bit too high. Their feedback on viewings could be better but everyone is friendly and approachable. The photographer was very slow to take photos of the property.

As a landlord who always wants to do the right thing by the tenant and property, I would not be without Sean. Communication is prompt, proactive and efficient; he will always pick up the phone and offer as much time and advice as is necessary. A rare aspect in business these days. 14th Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)I’m sure there are some success stories but ours isn’t one. I would guess they couldn’t anticipate the disaster of the auction buyers solicitor or the fact the buyer was clearly trying to avoid stamp duty. After being assured everything was fine and above board the auction collapsed leaving us in a financial mess and no compensation. The second auction got unpleasant between solicitors (buyers not accepting it was an auction time line) The hope was for a quick sale, instead we are no further forward and out of pocket.
