After switching to Herbert R Thomas, recommended by get agent, there were a number of viewings on the property and an offer made and accepted. I can’t recommend Harris & Birt enough. I bought a house through them and at no fault of theirs the process took a long time due to broken chains but they were always great to work with. Ellie especially always kept me well informed and was always chasing the chain to keep the process moving. I actually spoke to Ellie more than my own agent through out it all so a special thank you to her for always being so efficient, professional and calm when I was feeling far from it! We were never asked what we were looking for so they could suggest properties they had, we never had any feedback given from viewings we had, despite asking for it, when there was a few weeks of no viewings we had no communication at all, no keeping in touch messages or calls, then when we asked them to remove our house from their system they didn't answer, then after chasing eventually gave us a date, then that date passed and we had to chase for the removal again. Unfortunately, I feel that the bigger the company the less they care about customer service as they get paid either way, whether or not they sell the house (at least that's how it felt to us) really disappointed as first impressions were excellent, just a shame this wasn't kept up....
