16th Nov 2018 (5 years ago)lier staff in maintenance team , they never fixed thing shower heating not working since a week keep on telling someone come around nothing happen , give a smelling carpert promise to be clean once moved ask to clean it they say we organized someone to come and clean nothing done basically lier staff be carefull when taking any property for rent form this agent . as something goes wrong they not gona fixed it.

Shari lead our process and was fundamental in making the process as smooth as possible, even when changes occurred or plans changed. Shari worked with both sell & buy side solicitors to speed up the process and make sure everyone was happy.

We encountered them when buying a house a few years ago and were impressed at their fairness in handling the buyer/seller balance. Hence tje decision to use them when selling. This last transaction fell at a difficult time and had some complications but they showed patience, persistence, courtesy and even humour. In brief, we trust them.- 1st Jun 2021 (3 years ago)Nick of Jackson-Stops was extremely helpful in communicating between us and the Vendor. We were buying from overseas, and his support in virtual viewings and addressing programme and technical issues, was invaluable. We are extremely happy with our new house and remain on good terms with the Vendors, who have also been very helpful with the transition of ownership.
3rd Apr 2024 (6 mo. ago)Awful! When looking to rent a property you would think they would show all interest in assisting you. Sadly not, viewed a property two months ago, showed my interest. Chased 4 times via telephone in an update if the kitchen was fitted to have another view (as it wasn’t previously) to be told someone’s already now leasing it through them. Poor communication, attitude stinks, was told “well we are a busy branch” when I asked how they hadn’t informed me in 2 months as they stated they would in an email. Made to feel like an ignorance for having an interest in a property that we viewed. Which by the way had no kitchen in it whatsoever and wasn’t even warned on the pre viewing. Hence waiting 2 months for it to get fitted to view again. Absolutely awful - abrupt, rude and wouldn’t use

8th Dec 2023 (9 mo. ago)Professional team. Genuinely helpful and knowledgeable. There is a personal touch apparent which is absent in so many modern letting agents. Additionally, there was not one cocksure young individual in a skinny fit, shiny suit. Excellent service and a genuine pleasure to deal with. Thank you to Nick and all the team for their help and patience.

My issue with the landlord has nothing to do with my 1 star rating I gave you! You are rude and have , I don’t care attitude as you can see in other reviews not only me who thinks so.

31st Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

Communication had to be prompted from the start, no viewings until I suggested changes to the advert, the is no responsibility taken by the staff. They are more happy to ignore your questions and hope you go away. Steer well clear
13th Feb 2024 (7 mo. ago)Very unprofessional. Simon advertised a company(bar/nightclub) for sale as "confidential" to which i called and book an appointment. Turns out the club they were advertising is NOT the nightclub they told me over the phone. I have spoken to the owners of the club which told me its not for sale......Once i mentioned this i have received no reply. Feels very much like a "bait and switch" which in UK is completely illegal, reported to ASA for false advertising.
