The team were outstanding - so professional , proactive , informed and extremely personable. The sale was not a straightforward one and their understanding and communication was outstanding and we felt very reassured throughout. I could not recommend them highly enough - we are so happy in our new property and a big thank you to the team for making the process as seamless as possible. Wonderful service and lovely team. Then they let themselves down and me, if anyone wanted to view they told them drive past and if you like it make an appointment, since when do people buy house by driving by. No feed back at all I think good opertunities were squandered a lazy team.
9th Apr 2026 (26 days ago)I let out my house through Cooper & Tanner for a few years due to having to move away. From start to finish they were great. They made the process of getting the house ready for and finding tenants easy and smooth to understand. During the time they were always in continuous communication and also understanding of both tenants needs and mine. I would recommend for others to use their services.
27th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)Cannot recommend Joel and his team in Wells high enough. First class service and customer care. Regular updates on viewings with sound feedback. Once a potential buyer was secured, the team of four monitored the progress of the conveyancing law firms of both the buyer and ourselves, and what a bonus that was when ‘lethargy’ appeared to have ‘rooted’ itself in the process on several occasions. The commission was sensible and they deserved every penny. ????

It wasn't a smooth process, I'm not sure it ever is, but Jon, Jill, Sharon and team were fantastic throughout. A very professional service, always a friendly voice at the end of the phone, nothing was too much trouble. On several occasions Jon took the time to help me work through reports and surveys for my onward property when I wasn't sure what to do. I truely feel they held my hand and guided me through the whole process. I'm so glad I signed up with them and thoroughly recommend them. Many thanks to all the McAllisters team, you were brilliant.

Ian and Ash are always willing to answer any questions we have had, and are always happy and helpful. We will use them again.

9th Jan 2026 (17 weeks ago)Amazing landlords when they need your money, will tell you want you want to hear but once they have what they need financially they kick you to the kerb.. telling you the property is yours for as long as you want… they giving you a bull story as to why they need the property back… taking you for your full deposit and then re letting the property for a higher price.

I had been struggling to find somewhere for a while but when I came to them they got the job done. Would 100% recommend them.
18th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)My experience as a chain free buyer keen to purchase a property they are marketing; - Agent didn't show up to the first viewing booked, with zero apology for miss communication their end. - Late to subsequential viewing and had to wait to him to faff around getting the keys out of the key box in the pouring rain. - No follow up call after viewings, I had to call them to book in a second viewing after waiting to see if they would call for over a week. - Once sale was agreed, I have contacted them several times to ask questions re the property / sale details and they have ignored all emails. If you would like to sell your house in a timely manor, if at all, I would avoid.Cooper & Tanner - Shepton Mallet

20th Feb 2026 (11 weeks ago)We recently purchased a house listed through Lodestone, Martina was always quick to respond to our queries and was brilliant at keeping everyone in the loop during the final stages of the process. She really helped push everything through which was really appreciated. It was also really handy that they are based in Bruton. Would definitely consider using them in the future, although we won't want to think about selling anytime soon!

14th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)I used House of Jackson removals (part of Charles Barnard estate agents) to transport all of my belongings to my new home. Communication before, during and after was excellent, and the team were lovely, which is what you need when dealing with the stress of moving house! They turned up at the time that was agreed and were fully equipped for the job. They treated all my belongings with respect, as well as taking care when manoeuvring around tight corners and up and down the stairs. They went above and beyond to help with my move, ensuring that everything was unloaded into the correct rooms and didn’t leave until I was happy that everything was where it was supposed to be. The cost was significantly cheaper than other companies. They provided a top quality service for a more than reasonable price. I would highly recommend House of Jackson as a removal service and will definitely be using them for all moves in the future. Thank you Luke, Marcus and Brandon!
