We've used Stonebridge for years with regards to renting, buying and selling. Everytime they have been really helpful and have always had good communication with us. Ian and Ash are always willing to answer any questions we have had, and are always happy and helpful. We will use them again.

AWFUL! AVOID
Booked a viewing for a property, was confirmed times across 2 emails.
Arrived at the property 10mins early, no sign of the agent. Waited 20 mins, called and they said they don’t give an exact time. It clearly stated in the email mid day! Apparently that’s a rough guess to this company.
They said our viewing was 12.30 and it was OR error, despite the fact we were both looking at multiple emails saying mid day.
Grabbed a coffee and made our way back to the property.
Once there, the agent was inside with another couple, knocked multiple times, for an agent to appear and ask us to come back at 1pm!
Absolutely not when we had been there since 11.50 anyway.
No apology, no explanation, and downright rude behaviour from everyone involved!
Please read other reviews and see that we are not alone in being messed around by this company.

When we had our offer accepted everything seemed fine, and we were hopeful about the upcoming process.
Unfortunately things quickly went downhill. There was a complete lack of communication from Stonebridge. Not only with us, but also with our sellers.
We had an issue come up in the survey and of course wanted our estate agent to go to our seller and come up with some kind of agreement.
This did not happen. Ash told us that there’s nothing the seller could do and it’s down to us to go ahead and buy or pull out.
This is of course not a great way to deal with clients. Very unprofessional.
Luckily ourselves and our seller managed to communicate privately and we sorted the issue.
Our seller should have got commission as without them we would have pulled out!
We didn’t hear from Ash or Stonebridge ever again, until I had to pick up our keys.
This is when Ash gave me a business card and asked for a review.
To reiterate -
We were repeatedly left in the dark, having to chase for updates that should have been provided proactively.
In a situation that required clear communication and professionalism, we received neither. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Stonebridge.

I'd give 0 stars if possible. I've never dealt with a more dishonest company. They valued my home years ago, at a low value which was fine. A lot of work had been done since then. When I actually went to them to list it, Ash came out to give an estimate. We agreed 375k with a view to get 350k. I went back and forth with Ian about getting pictures done. We arranged a time and they were a no show. With the level of work getting it prepared, what a disaster. I said you never showed up, and Ian was very apologetic and wanted to reschedule. He said we didn't have an appointment which I had confirmation in an email. I ignored that, we were done with them, and we went on with the company we were with. Fast forward 2 months, we're trying to get a deal done, and someone called them saying they were an investor looking at our property, and Stonebridge said they'd value it at 260k! Less then they had done years ago, and certainly less than the value Ash gave me when he visited our house recently. I can't even understand why they would give that information to a 3rd party, and certainly done out of spite as we did not give them the listing. They ruined the deal we had based on lies. Avoid at all cost!

Really fantastic experience with Stonebridge who have just sold our property. So happy that we stuck to our guns and went with an independent. Ian , Ashley and the team went the extra mile at every opportunity and treated us like friends, we felt really looked after. The potential buyers were treated ethically, no blind bidding nonsense and we still got a great price. Can't recommend enough.

Enquired twice about a property for let and was told it had been let then it went back on as let fail through, I phoned again and had some questions and they were going to check with the Landlord and still no one got back to me. I see it's back on again. Wouldn't recommend this Agent.

I recently bought a house through Stonebridge and they were absolutely fantastic - I mainly dealt with Ashley and Ian. They went above and beyond for us and were super helpful. They were fantastic with keeping on top of the solicitors on both sides to ensure the purchase would complete as soon as possible - as well as dealing with the vendor when things didn't go to plan or odd situations came up. Without them the house sale would definitely have taken longer. When the time comes to sell my house (hopefully not for many years) or even potentially rent it out, I will approach Stonebridge as I know they will provide fantastic service.
