23rd Jan 2025 (1 year ago)Having rented a flat in Kensington with Thackerays for 2+ years, I can testify of their utter unprofessional conduct - regular email nagging, rude staff, lack of financial transparency, and to top it all they removed the terrace, with all my furniture on it, while I was away, without any notice of access or changes. Best agents to avoid.

From our initial viewing to signing the contract, moving in and finally getting back our full deposit, they provided a stellar service. The few times we needed something fixed in the flat Urtopia dealt with it swiftly and everything was dealt with in less than 24 hours. I absolutely recommend Urtopia!

Have been with them for 6 years and they’re friendly, helpful, reliable, always prompt with any assistance (even during holiday periods), and they’re very transparent and honest, and really understand the market.

They are quick to resolve issues, have been very supportive and transparent through the renting process. As first time renters in London, could not have asked for a better agency to work with.

14th Jul 2026 (16 weeks ago)DO NOT RENT with Saville’s - YOU WILL REGRET IT!! They haven’t cleaned the building in MONTHS, dirt and mould everywhere. And they don’t dispose of bins until the room is a health hazard - and even then they don’t want to do it. No point contacting them they are all completely ignorant. Go straight to Ombudsman and Health and Safety executive, they should be fined for causing a health and safety risk.

30th Sep 2023 (3 years ago)ReMax Caning town property sale team has totally disappointed us in every step of 6 weeks period of sale of our house and wasted our time. They made a good first meeting impression, compare to other 6 estate agents, which swayed us to go with them but from there it was total disaster. The listed cost of property was not discussed and advised properly, they agreed with our “wishful” house price to get us sign up with them, rather than advise against current market situation. The listing of our property has been unprofessional, copied twice with different prices and unmanaged even after countless requests. The availability of the sale team was getting worse every week up to the moment where weren’t able to reach anyone in four working days. We had very little or no feedback from them on any viewings of our property. Compare to our second chosen estate agents who were complete opposite on every step of successful house sale ReMax was terrible choice and I would recommend everyone with hope of smooth and quick property sale to AVOID ReMax estate agents altogether!!
25th Apr 2023 (3 years ago)I had the misfortune to be a tenant in one of the properties now let by DBLS. I had lived there happily for 5 years before they took over the letting contract. Within 1 year I was evicted with 8 weeks notice. This was through no wrong doing in my behalf but because they decided they could get a higher rent with a new tenant. They had tried to increase my rent by 20% in the December, to this I pointed out that the flat was riddled with damp and that an increase of this amount to a good tenant at that particular time of year was unfair - they agreed to a 5% increase. However a situation was quickly manufactured by the owner of DBLS which triggered the eviction - when I confronted him about this there was no denial regarding his actions. My family and I had months of utter hell and it was all due to this company. So, if you are an unscrupulous landlord looking for tenants that you can screw over DBLS are your company. If you are a tenant looking for a property - don’t touch them with a barge pole!
