Emily and Amy guided me through every step of the process, and I’m extremely grateful for their dedication and kindness in securing the home for me so quickly. I would highly recommend Bridgfords! Especially Emily, for their outstanding service in lettings.
11th Sep 2024 (13 weeks ago)I don’t like writing this but the way we have been treated by this estate agent is terrible. All was good we had our offer excepted, happy days. Then 2 weeks later, after solicitors have got involved, we find out the garden as shown in the brochure with decking and a shed on it, oh and patio doors opening onto it doesn’t belong to the property at all. Apparently they have squatters rights to the land, but want our solicitors to sort it out. If we had known this from the start we would never have made an offer on the property.
1st Oct 2024 (10 weeks ago)Would recommend the team here. They were patient, responsive to my needs and very professional. Julie Burdett and Nicola Clegg were particularly helpful with my transaction and supported well by Julie Gomersall when Nicola went on maternity leave. Claire Midgley was also great as a post sale progressor. Despite us and our sellers doing a lot of the communicating directly (through our sellers choice) she was very helpful, attentive, efficient and knowledgeable when I needed her. All round a great personal service and I have recommended them to a number of friends, family and colleagues.

Charlotte was always there at the end of the phone or email to answer and sort any questions I had. 10th Jul 2024 (22 weeks ago)Personally not partial to Estate Agents, what do they do for their money, BUT James Du Pavey are different they work hard for the money. I only bought my home through them but they worked the chain hard and communicated every step. Just what people want not silence. Thank you so much to the whole team but Pippa you were amazing. James Du Pavey are wholeheartedly recommended; it's time all other estates agents woke up and become a true service.

18th Mar 2024 (8 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
