9th Nov 2024 (10 weeks ago)Really disappointing experience. Some of the viewers they sent were a total waste of time - clearly not interested in a property like ours. Communication was non existent unless we got in touch first. That includes when we were clearly not going to make the initial date for exchange. Only thing they managed to do without us telling them to was putting their final bill into our solicitor.

Steve and Sandi and Tim could not have done anymore and were always helpful and a pleasure to deal with . I hope not to move again but if I do then I would use them again

Even once a buyer was found Chris and Amy took great care guiding us through the sale process through to completion. I look forward to hopefully working with them again in the future.
10th Oct 2024 (15 weeks ago)I contacted Strutt & Parker in Exeter to sell my late parents home in Sidmouth. Isabel Clifton came and looked around the property, she was punctual and very professional with a friendly attitude. Isabel had a good grasp of the market and how to market the property in a difficult housing market. Isabel and her team provided good helpful advice and had an excellent knowledge of marketing our property. Their whole approach was professional, from valuing the property, to producing the particulars and photographs, to arranging the viewings and showing the potential purchasers around the property and achieving a good sale price that I was very happy with. I would highly recommend Isabel Clifton & her team if you are wishing to market a property. Robin Gabriel

17th Nov 2024 (9 weeks ago)Six years ago we moved for the first time in over 35 years. Ben and the team (metaphorically) held our hands through it all, selling and buying, and were '5 star' expert, professional and empathetic. So much so that now, just 6 years later, when we decided to future-proof with a move to a bungalow, we had no hesitation in contracting them again. And, again, they've excelled themselves. They found and secured our new home for us, and sold our current house in under 7 days. All with courtesy, efficiency and understanding. A huge thank you - particularly to Ben and Paul for always going the extra mile - but also the whole team. Highly recommended.

The house needed some work and the fact that both executors lived in London made things more difficult. Ben gave a fair idea of price and secured multiple viewings over several months in a difficult market. He was always honest in his feedback, keen to update us and absolutely determined to help us sell. We completed in October 2024. I cannot recommend him too highly.

Really kept the sale on track in my mind. Always prompt feedback after every viewing. Fantastic experience from start to end. Would only use Chamberlains in the future. Well done guys !!!

Specifically Vicky who we have been dealing with directly. She is extremely good at her job and anyone looking at using your move i would recommend her 100%- This agent doesn't have any reviews

22nd Nov 2024 (9 weeks ago)Having dealt with lots of estate agents, Stags proved to be highly superior. Selling two houses to buy one was quite a task, but Stags, (James from Totnes and Noor and Kate from Torquay) proved to be highly professional and worked extremely hard to complete our sales. Nothing was too much trouble and we were always kept in the loop. I would highly recommend.

No idea on how to help us sell our home, on the market for 10 months. We ended up going to external company for advice, after that we sold our home within 2 weeks. Stay away from these cowboys
11th Jun 2024 (7 mo. ago)The Pilkington sales agent was very enthusiastic and confident and the outcome was that they achieved their valuation. However their positive 'leave it to us attitude', while it achieved the positive result did mean that we weren't fully aware of how the sale was being handled and they needed reminding to progress the memorandum of sale.

I was interested to get my property valued. She wasn’t that helpful but took my number and said a man would contact me from the office who deals with sales. Never heard from anyone again. I therefore wouldn’t use this estate agent as they could easily miss a sale. Suggest when you telephone the office, you have a better system in place for taking messages and getting back to potential customers.
31st Jul 2024 (25 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
6th Jan 2025 (15 days ago)Use of Social Media seemed more advanced than competitors. Contact initially was very good though communication did seem to reduce when interest in the property was low for a sustained period.
