After viewing the house we were travelling overseas and were able to undertake all of the paperwork and processes from there. Luke was incredibly supportive and always on hand to help (as was Nicolette). As first time buyers they made the whole experience positive and we highly recommend them! Thank you!

I found Lorainne and Carol in the office to be very empathetic; I believed they were looking after my interests. Tony explained the process and his marketing strategy to me very well. I would definitely use them again in the future.

22nd Oct 2024 (6 weeks ago)Where to start...We had an appauling service from another estate agent, and by the time we contacted Downers, I had reeached the end of my tether. I was not sure if we were heading into more of the same. However, Downers have been an absolute tonic. Nicky Padbury, being the first person I spoke to, kindly listened to all my worries (almost like some kind of therapist and poor lady), and she put me at ease right away. Nicky then introduced us to Richard. Richard took control and eased us through the marketing and sale of our house in a most professional manner. The photography was excellent; Richard took his time and picked the best weather to take the best shots. Once the brocure has been approved, bookings for viewings started coming through in volume. We had more booked in the first couple of days than we had seen in 3 months from our previous estate agent. The house sold within 10 days of hitting the market with Downer. We really could not be more pleased. Thanks also go to Fraser, who kept us informed of progress and was happy to answer any queeries we had as things moved forward. What a great team!

26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

It's hands down the best letting service in the area, and I highly recommend them. Sophie, the current property manager, is outstanding.

4th Jul 2022 (2 years ago)We bought & sold our last house with Halletts 32 years ago so dealing with them again on our present home made us feel very comfortable. They are a great team, nothing is too much trouble for them. We had viewings very quickly when the house was put on the market and these were all professionally handled by either Graham or his son. We were kept informed after every viewing and once a buyer was found, Graham could always be relied upon to speak to the other agents when there were holdups of any kind. The team are very approachable and we would highly recommend this well established Estate Agents 10/10!!

They are clearly knowledgable, very supportive and provided just the right level of guidance throughout the whole process - exactly what we were after and we would thoroughly recommend them.
16th Nov 2024 (19 days ago)I used Henwicks to let out my property for a year. They were fairly bad so I dealt directly with the tenants afterwards. Firstly, they wanted to use he/him pronouns on the contract for the property owner but the tenant had inclusive gender. To eventually persuade them that women really can own property these days and to update their paperwork took many emails back and forth and an instruction from me on how to use the ‘find’ function in MS word. When my tenants encountered a severe problem with the floor, they were very slow to respond. It left me and my tenants unsure of whether they were going to help because we were both contacting them over many days with no response. They did eventually get the problem sorted but the communication was lacking. Mostly the one star is because of the sexism.

30th Oct 2024 (5 weeks ago)Hello, if you don't like reading long reviews, please just take my word that Parkers are amazing and you should 100% go with them. Parkers have been great from the very start, Theo was the one to show myself and my partner around our home. He is very kind and helpful, he happily answered any questions that we had. Then when we booked the second viewing he kept the same kind attitude. He's very professional and helpful. After we made an offer on our home Luke was looking after us and straight away you could tell that he knows what he is talking about. He has many years of experience and he guided me in the right direction. I believe he had a big influence on us getting our offer accepted, I will never forget the feeling I had when he told me. Chanelle kept in touch regularly, checking in on the progress of the purchase and always replied to my emails in a timely manner also very helpful. We have dealt with many Estate Agents while on the hunt for our home and non of them even come close to how amazing Parkers have been. Highly recommend. Big thank you to the amazing team that dealt with us.
