We where having no luck finding anywhere. When we found places we never heard back from them until we got in touch with henwick properties they were really good. Connie replied to our emails very quickly and helped us find somewhere. Was really good at booking viewings last minute to fit around us. Happily showed us around same properties twice at different times to make sure we sure about it. She made a very stressful time a lot easier for us

Nick and the team have been absolutely brilliant throughout my tenancy. By far the best letting's company I've used to date. When I've had issues Nick responded promptly and got things sorted in record time. I was impressed. Even the exit was fast and got my deposit back and everything wrapped up nice and quickly. Makes such a nice change because most lettings agents I've used have been slow or having to chase.

I used Henwicks to let out my property for a year. They were fairly bad so I dealt directly with the tenants afterwards.
Firstly, they wanted to use he/him pronouns on the contract for the property owner but the tenant had inclusive gender. To eventually persuade them that women really can own property these days and to update their paperwork took many emails back and forth and an instruction from me on how to use the ‘find’ function in MS word.
When my tenants encountered a severe problem with the floor, they were very slow to respond. It left me and my tenants unsure of whether they were going to help because we were both contacting them over many days with no response. They did eventually get the problem sorted but the communication was lacking.
Mostly the one star is because of the sexism.

We sold our house to move into rented accommodation and the whole experience has been one of the most stressful times of my life (not sold through Henwick)
We have been assisted by Connie on two occasions and both times she has been professional (very patient with my constant questions and needing reassurance) she explained each step clearly and responded quickly and efficiently to emails/ phone calls.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I would recommend Renting with you guys. Even though my experience with my property wasn’t the best at all. It wasn’t really Henwick properties fault, it was my lazy landlord. I could write a massive long story with everything but I won’t. The place I lived in for 4 years suddenly became mouldy and water coming through the walls but the landlord just wasn’t interested, Henwick did what they could but because I didn’t want to wait I handed my notice in and moved, with moving the landlord started to become difficult. But Henwick stayed professional and helped me & the landlord come to an agreement, after a very long 2/3weeks of fighting between each other. Henwick was very good and non of it was your guys fault, you did everything you guys could not your fault the landlord didn’t. Would 100% recommend renting with you guys, because anywhere can have idiot landlords. Thank you again for being so patient and reasonable. Very polite and professional. 100% recommend.

Many issues over a 14month tenancy , mould and damp in the house not dealt with, radiator never fixed , guttering was in poor condition and never sorted.
Very slow to react to issues and constantly messaging to follow up, really disappointing
response times.
Very favourable towards landlords very little support towards tenants.
would never rent from again..

If your thinking of renting your property out, I’d say don’t walk, but RUN to Henwick.
Having rented a property out for years with multiple local agencies I can tell you this team are a different level.
They have taken care of everything from Start to finish, made what can be a stressful process
Calm and organised.
Honestly biggest thank you to Nick and the team I really appreciate your expert advice, support and work.
My flat was rented within 3 days with everything taken care of for me. Seamless.
I won’t be using any other companies for my rental requirements again and again. 5*

If it was not for Henwick property's helping me find a place to live .in would of ending on the streets
They are very helpful
If anything need repairing or fixing
And they are always there if u need to talk

As a tenant of 3 years I experienced many repair and pest issues, a number of items were never fixed or temp fixes put in place that kept failing despite verbal assurances otherwise. Not a good service for tenants.They blame the landlords and the issues continue. Avoid if possible, if you have to use them then document everything in writing as the verbal communication does not reflect what they put on writing.

Ok start with my family situation I have a wife and two year old son, due to my landlord selling his house we had to find another dwelling to call home unfortunately henwick properties was not the agent to help us with this, we found a bungalow in station road thatcham, the agent who showed us around or lack of should I say was arrogant and rude however we did apply for it three days later I call henwick and speak to nick Kate for an update to be told they are still waiting on a decision from landlord fast forward two weeks and I notice that the bungalow is now let by without a word from henwick properties, lucky chancellors was on hand and we found the perfect property and we move on the 6th August, however I would just like to say avoid henwick like the plague two weeks with no communication a rude viewing and an even ruder Nick and then they let the property without even updating us, it is applauling to be honest I'm glad we didn't rent through them in the end because I doubt they would of helped us if anything went wrong with the the property judging on their lack of reliability so I will say a sarcastic thank you to henwick properties for helping us to avoid the biggest mistake we would of made in our lives by not employing the services of possibly the worse letting agent I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with what a total waste of my time agent should be ashamed of themselves

Unfortunately I am renting my house through Henwick properties. Up until the middle of last year I rented straight fom the landlord, that saved both of us the hassle of arbitrary fees of the estate agent mafia.
My landlord then decided to sell the house and I ended up with Henwick Properties.
If you look for an agency that is proactively managing YOUR customer expectations then better look somewhere else. Of course all the admin work in ther favour was done imminently after paperwork has been exchanged incl setup of deposite scheme and increase in the rent. But then my washing machine broke down and Henwick property left me stranded for 6+ weeks (it is still not working).
So what would a company do that actually cares about their customers? Of course they would keep their customers up to date, proactively, about the status on resolving the problem. Henwick did nothing...no communication at all except when WE try to call Henwick to get information...but we either did not get any satisfying answer or the right person wasn't available. And dont bother sending them emails, you will get auto-replys suggesting the mailbox is continously full.
Funny enough that they suddenly started talking to me after I sent final reminder (recorded delivery) for the issue to be fixed, suggesting that I will buy a new machine at their cost and/or cut the rent. And guess what, the engineer will come on Monday.
If your look for a reliable agent...check-in with Regent Lettings, these guys are amazing and always approachable. But I am just at the beginning of my relationship with Henwick and I will keep you up to date on how it goes in the future.
Update (25/03/16)
A week ago our power shower broke down. We again called Henwick Properties to arrange a fix but again no proactive communication on progress/status - we needed to chase updates to ensure our problems are being dealt with. Its now a week later and shower is still not fixed - so no shower at all going into the Bank Holiday weekend.

Garry advised us what to look for (and what to avoid) in selecting a 'buy to let' property. He gave us advice on each property we looked at helping us to make a good decision.
He also gave us lots of useful information about 'buy to let' in general.
His team are no managing our property for us.
