17th Jul 2024 (10 days ago)All staff will at Douglas Allen group at epping were great! First spoke to Ian who was so kind, friendly and very helpful. He arranged a meeting with mortgage broker Roy who explained the process very well step by step. Then the viewing was very warm and welcoming. I'd also like to mention Adam who made the viewing very special and made me like the property even more. I may have forgotten some names but I promise you that I have had the nest experience. I eould recommend Douglas Allen group to anyone who needs to buy a house. I'm so grateful for the excellent and very professional service I have received!
16th Jul 2024 (11 days ago)We had talked to Rocco about selling the empty bungalow that we inherited, but then a neighbour said that he wanted to buy it direct. Rocco called now and again to see how things were going. The neighbour messed us around for a year before we decided to call it a day and put it back on the market. We had a few agents come and look at and they all said that house prices had gone down and properties weren't moving. Then, while we were clearing out the property I got a call from Rocco asking how the sale was going. I told him that we were putting it back on the market and that we were at the property. Rocco came straight over to see us. Had a look around and said "Yeah, I can sell this". The next day I got a call from Rocco saying that he had a viewer. Over the next couple of weeks we had quite a few viewings, sometimes 2 a day, and one of those made an offer, which with the help of Rocco we negotiated and accepted. Throughout the sale process Rocco kept in touch with updates from the buyers, and he also helped liaise with our solicitors. I would definitely highly recommend Rocco and the team at William H Brown, Hoddesdon

9th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)We chose Petty Son and Prestwich to sell our house having first got to know them when they were the acting agent for the vendor of the same house four years previously. All I can say is that the whole team are superb. The sales team we worked with, Greg, Faye, Francesca, Catherine, Pamela, Dan worked tirelessly to ensure our beautiful home was pitched at the right price using the right strategy. Their knowledge of properties in the area is second to none and given we ended up moving to another house in the same area, their advice and recommendations during the whole process was invaluable. It was a fairly drawn out process given market conditions at the time, with lots of ups and downs, but we always knew Pettys were keeping us fully informed and looking out for us. The whole team were always available for a chat to discuss progress and pick us up when needed and we really appreciated that. Once the sale was agreed, Elaine and Janine in the sales coordinator team were also incredible. Not every estate agent has a sales coordinator team, but after our experience I wouldn’t choose an estate agent who doesn’t have one. Again they both worked tirelessly to ensure our sale (and purchase) were as smooth as possible, by helping the communication between all parties involved. 15th Jul 2024 (12 days ago)I live next door to a property rented out by this company, and I've had to chase them numerous times regarding a damaged fence caused by a tree on their side, which has affected my property. Initially, I contacted them to get the tree maintained and then to fix the fence on the 14th May. I was asked by the company to source a quote myself, which I did. However, after arranging for a professional to start the repairs, I was told the quote was too expensive. They then promised a like-for-like fence using someone cheaper that they sourced. I feel upset and frustrated as I've had to keep chasing this issue. The damaged fence is an eyesore, and not one person from the company has come out to look at it. I have had no updates and had to chase them again. It seems that unless they're making money, they're not interested in resolving issues. I hope this review prompts the company to understand the importance of maintaining properties and addressing concerns, not just focusing on profit. Their brand should reflect quality service at all levels.
6th Jul 2024 (21 days ago)Beware! This company do not care about tenants or their welfare. They failed to settle their own dispute with the landlord, who then turned on me to recover her losses. They basically lumbered me with a psychotic landlord, and Instead of dealing with the situation, chased a tidy profit out of a very ugly situation they caused in the first place. Don't be mislead by other positive reviews... They're probably all good if all goes well and their banking their commissions, but if there are any complications they'll leave you high 'n' dry. They're simply not a good company, and their contracts are worthless pieces of paper unless the clause is in their favour. This machiavellian organisation are a disgrace to their industry. They caused me untold stress and cost me a fortune. They should not be allowed to trade. I’d strongly advise you steer clear.

Throughout the process they were exceptional in communication and understood all the processes. I felt everything was under control and their experience really came through. I was very impressed with the swift nature of their work and above all kindness and customer service I haven’t received anywhere from other letting agents, ever. These staff members in particular went above and beyond to ensure a smooth process and I was very impressed. I hope the company can reward these individuals for displaying gold standard customer service. I will certainly recommend Elliott James Loughton. Annabel and Grace are experienced, have excellent communication skills, excellent telephone manner and exceptional customer service skills. It really meant a lot to me so I wanted to commend them on their skill and excellent work ethic - I found them to be customer first and efficient on their approach to everything and above all the pair are very hard working, kind individuals.
