Not a good first experience with Jacksons! Booked an appointment to view a property and meet Sheila, travelled over 100 miles and paid for a B & B and no-one turned up for the viewing! There had been no communication from the office to say there was a problem so I called in to see what had gone wrong. Neither of the ladies seemed to know anything about the booking and just called it "a bit of a mix up"! They said they were sorry but they didn't seem terribly concerned at how inconvenienced we'd been.
I have been with Reeds Rains, Whitby for almost seven years. The staff have always been very helpful, polite, approachable and professional from the first contact. I would like to thank Rachael Knaggs who recently helped with a query I had. Rachael dealt with this so quickly, I feel very confident and grateful that my issue has been dealt with in such a manner. I would recommend Reeds Rains, Flowergate, Whitby to anybody because of their professional but friendly approach to dealing with clients.

Excellent estate agent, friendly approachable staff, very experienced, knowledgeable and proactive. Helped with all aspects of buying and selling property and fabulous local knowledge including all the contact details for recommended tradesmen. Can't recommend highly enough
Just like any other large chain estate agents, nice staff office a bit sparse!
Nice staff, office a bit strange, feels like you should not be in there!!! And the other downside was location, not on Estate Agent row as it is called in Whitby "Flowergate", we could have easily missed these chaps but thanks to a local we eventually found them on the way out of Whitby.
More than just an estate agent!! We popped in on the off-chance that we could view a property one Saturday lunchtime. By the time we left, about 20mins later, Karin had booked us three viewings and a B&B (that would let us check in at midnight), and recommend a wonderful letting agent to us!!
Called in to arrange viewings and staff didn't make eye contact or smile. Quite frankly I expect better from a sales person, service bordering on rudeness...
