28th Jul 2024 (26 weeks ago)Looking further afield at where i want to live which reaches the right balance and unfortunately everything on offer is too expensive for my income. Its a sad state of the country which is not really FennWrights fault but they are part of the industry so they needed to know and when challenged on this some became upset and brazen about that's just how it is. 625, for a admittedly well decorated but E graded EPC bedsit above your shop just is not acceptable. For that price you could have provided furniture and all the other stuff and i stand my ground that a fair rent would be an annual yield of 3 to 5 percent. Especially as the original maisonette above had been originally i believe social housing scheme which and then you then became the managing agents of. Turning the 2 bedroom maisonettes into single units was crazy. Now i suppose someone is without a living room and i bet the rent is exorbitant. Especially as you are the owners of the block somehow. I guess its who you know at Tendring.

23rd Oct 2024 (13 weeks ago)Well - so far I'm so impressed with the Flick and Sons rental team (I haven't rented anything yet ... but I am very hopeful). My experience with them (in contrast to various agents in the Essex area) has been so pleasant, positive, immediate and supportive. I made an enquiry late last night and by 09:30 - Oliver had called me back. I had a wonderful helpful conversation with Melissa who intervened as when I called back Oliver was unavailable. I loved the willingness to step in and help a colleague (and a client) - I also loved that I didn't get "press 1 for this and press 2 for that" recorded message when I called! Hooray for human interaction. Melissa used the information I had provided - rather than going all through it again and made an appointment for me today and emailed confirmation immediately. I am so glad their posters/signs were all around Suffolk yesterday when I was driving around. Unlike so often as a rental customer with other agents who make you feel like a pauper or scum of the earth - I was treated with respect and as a valued person/customer. Thank you so much - after 15 years renting in Poland (with such an easy process over there which UK could learn from) - it's been great to be able to find someone who wants to work with me to find a new home.

Courteous and friendly to a person, we had a very good experience when selling our house near Framlingham. I’m sure this applied to people viewing and buying as well. C&S have excellent local knowledge and experience and this significantly helped with selling our very old listed property.

16th Sep 2024 (18 weeks ago)Really hopeless when it comes to getting viewings for rentals or updated information. They say they’ll call and don’t etc … Many of the staff are rude and blunt. I saw several reviews that they’re not good for landlords or tenants and in my experience i wouldn’t recommend and definitely wouldn’t use to rent.
17th Nov 2024 (10 weeks ago)This company did not back us (the tenant) over disputes when we vacated a rental property they looked after. They tried to intimidate us into giving up our full deposit (when we ultimately got half back when it went to dispute) when we provided evidence that suggested we were in the right. They ignored our emails when we needed their support and I’m not even sure they know the laws very well. Poor agent.

I really appreciated receiving updates and messages through the WhatsApp chat they set up. I would thoroughly recommend Hizzy to anyone looking to sell their home, and will definitely use them again if I move again in the future!
18th Nov 2024 (9 weeks ago)I first heard about Jackson and co when I was selling a property and was dealing with another estate agent, who I was not very satisfied with. Then Joe of Jackson and Co put a card through the door offering his services. I decided to give him a ring and check him out, this was the best decision I ever made. Joe has been absolutely fantastic, he helped to negotiate the difficult path to selling a property. He gets very personally involved so you don't feel like your own your own, like some other estate agents. He is always available at the end of the phone to iron out any issues. His enthusiasm and professionalism have been outstanding and I can't recommend him enough. We are so glad that we went with Joe and would definitely use Jackson and Co again next time we sell or buy a property. So I definitely recommend Jackson and Co. Outstanding, 5stars.

The walk through tour really added an extra advantage given the unusual layout of our house. Very pleased to have received an offer in less than a week of being on the market. Fingers crossed it all goes through!
