I have made a big investment with Alesco and they absolutely let me down. They provided very poor investment advice which resulted in a big financial loss.
I doubt if I ever get my money back.
Additionally, some 30 investors that were invested in the same investment had big financial loss as well.
The business model of Alesco is based on very aggressive marketing. They put much pressure on you to buy, and the only thing they care about is sales at the expense of the investor. They are immoral and do not care about you and your hard earned money.
I have been trying to reach out and talk to them but they avoid and lie to me systematically.
I left another review in the past which was positive, but it was very early on and before I realised what is going on and lost my money.
Never invest with Alesco.

After contacting Alesco with with a view to investing in my first property I was advised to consider a loan note with thier partners HIGH STREET GROUP. I have seen zero interest on my investment and since trying to disinvest have come up against all sorts of obstacles as to why my money is not being returned.
ALESCO has basically taken comission and aided another company to steal my money.
I Woukd steer clear of BOTH these ruthless companies preying on anyone new to property investment.

I invested £35k four years ago, the project didn't started at all , the directors disappeared , the insurance avoiding paying you even a pence, and now still struggling to refund the initial deposit I made after spending huge amount to the solicitors and chasing up every day, So if you want to keep your money safe , JUST AVOID INVOLVING WITH ANY INVESTMENT MARKETING BY THEM.

Alesco have been a breath of fresh air. Keith has been a real asset, he doesn't get offended if you decline an opportunity, we have objective conversations and understands that I may not be interested in every opportunity presented to me. Once I decided on an opportunity, Molly (the Client Care Manager) has been spot on in both transactions I have had with Alesco. Speed of response, happy to help with any questions and keeps comms open and regular. 2 transactions down, hopefully more to come. I don't normally do this but credit where credits due.

They took my money then broke the contract. Now I'm fighting in court to get my money back. It's a shame that agents like that exist and lure naive investors with empty promises.

Awful company and I have barely dealt with them. Firstly made an enquiry as to why a listing has 1 balcony but 3 different views and why it is listed as a 1 bed but also a 2 bed. They responded with a guide for a completely different building that hasn’t even been built yet nor do I have an interest. Despite me chasing twice, I am still waiting for a response from Declan over a month later. I can see the property has been reduced today also. Very unprofessional and rude.

Very impressed with these guys. You can't do anything with them until you've had a meeting to go through your goals and strategy, and then they offer regular catch-up/review meetings. They really engage rather than just sell. Highly recommended !

BEWARE of opportunities which offer a high yield over a number of years. I purchased a flat in Liverpool and was only paid the first quarterly rental (one month late). The second monthly rental never materialised , and nobody is able to get hold of the developer. The so-called 'management company' does not answer the phone and unfortunately, Alesco is unable to help me with this matter. This turned out to be a terrible investment for me, I have wasted an awful lot of time chasing all parties involved and will need to spend money with solicitors to try to resolve this situation. I would not recommend this type of investment at all.

I purchased a property in Liverpool through Alesco. The staff had little knowledge of the product they were selling and marketing. They were unable to negotiate any requests in terms of changes to the property (e.g.tiles colour, shower instead of bathtub). I was given supporting documents and photos which do not correspond at all to the the final project. Potentially this may have some legal implication. There has been no post-sale follow up or clarification to my queries. Regrettably I can not trust this company for future investments.
