Going through a mortgage process during Cov19, had the best mortgage advisor ever with Ak!! He was very professional and always keept me and my fiancè updated during our journey especially dealing with our lender, he was constantly on top of everything and so was Allen & Harris! The staff in branch were very efficient and competent. The forced closure due to Covid-19 did interrupt the sale process but a new purchaser was found swiftly after reopening.
We also used Blacks solicitors, as recommended by Allen and Harris. Communication with the solicitor was poor. Even staff in branch had difficulty trying to get feedback for us on the developments of the sales process. This lack of communication from the solicitor caused significant stress which could have been avoided. Several mistakes were made in the paperwork by the solicitor which added to the stress. If we sell in the future we would be happy to choose Allen and Harris as an agent again but we would not use the “in house“ solicitor, as we don’t believe it made thing run more smoothly etc.

If I could give more stars I would! We found our dream home through Allen & Harris in Devizes. The team are professional and friendly and make you feel more than just a client. Matthew could not do enough for us when we had lengthy issues with our solicitor. He spent days helping us to ensure we would exchange and complete right after lockdown was eased. Relocating from London to Wiltshire was daunting but the well placed team have offered help to find the local shops and recruitment! Matt & Lee have definitely been more than "just" estate agents to us! You're stars!
