So as a cash buyer I tried to put in a reasonable offer today, via my solicitor, for a property they are selling, but they won't even take my offer to the vendor. This would sometimes be what happens when they have set a closing date, but there is no closing date set at present and no other offers made!. If I was their customer I would be fuming that they were refusing offers on my behalf rather than letting me judge on whether I wanted to accept the offer. I would never use people with this system to sell a property for me.... Read more

What a nightmare trying to get a home report. They demand you provide them with all of your information first before sending it which other estate agents don't do. They want my name, email address, phone number, address, financial position, solicitors, budget etc......I just want the home report! Called to request it and had a girl talk over me on the phone telling me it was their process but when I asked why it was needed there was very little explanation. We asked this agent to value our property when we wanted to sell. They came out and gave us a price that was £10k under the eventual home report value. We used another agent and a potential buyer was using allan and Harris for a mortgage and they advised the buyer our property was worth £20k under the home report value just so they could try and get them to buy a property they had listed. Currently in the process of buying a house through this estate agents. Communication has been abominable, that’s if they eventually answer the phone. They state they will call you back and never do. The seller of the house wasn’t overly impressed as it took a good while to put a for sale sign up and needed to get on at them. My dealing with this company have been extremely poor, Stewart in particular as his attitude is abrupt and unhelpful and to top it off he hung up the phone on me. I do not recommend this company as a buyer or a seller.... Read more

I only wish I could give 0/5 stars. Horrible experience, mortgage advisor Craig ignored requests and phone calls to update me on my mortgage. Turns out, the application failed and he never informed me until the week before I was supposed to move into my new place. He eventually sorts it out after having me into the office a bunch of times to hand over more documentation and bank statements etc for a new mortgage and sort his mess out. Costs me in the region of £850 more than what I was expecting. I complain to Connells for compensation and receive £100. Absolute Joke. Avoid this place at all costs.... Read more
