I would strongly advise anyone considering renting through this estate agent to think twice. We were handed a property that was nowhere near an acceptable standard, as the photos show.<br>From the day we moved in, it was obvious that little to no effort had been made to prepare the property. Several cupboards and storage areas were left full of rubbish, leftover building materials, cleaning products, fittings, cables, paint trays and other items from previous work. The kitchen and utility areas were dirty and clearly had not been properly cleaned.<br>Before we moved in, we were told that the landlord had agreed to pay for a professional clean. However, this was not carried out before we were given the keys, despite those assurances. We were left having to deal with a property that was not clean or ready to be lived in.<br>There were unfinished works throughout the property, including exposed and loose wiring, damaged electrical sockets, and what appeared to be poor electrical safety also the boiler leaking as which took several days to repair. Some fittings were incomplete, and spare parts had simply been left lying around in cupboards. We found this unacceptable and potentially dangerous.<br>We were also promised that a built-in fridge freezer would be installed in the kitchen before we moved in. Instead, we arrived to find a standalone fridge left in the hallway next to a radiator, meaning the radiator could not be used properly. This was another promise that was not fulfilled before the tenancy began.<br>The bathroom was particularly disappointing, with visible dirt and staining in the toilet, along with other signs that basic hygiene standards had been ignored. Windows and fixtures were dirty, and there were marks and unfinished areas throughout the property. Instead of moving into a clean, ready-to-live-in home, we felt like we had moved into an unfinished building site.<br>Throughout the process, we were given repeated assurances about the condition of the property and the work that would be completed before we moved in. In our experience, many of those promises were not honoured, and it felt as though we were told what we wanted to hear to ensure the tenancy agreement was signed.<br>Considering the amount of rent charged and the expectations of professional property management, the condition of the property was shocking. A rental property should be thoroughly cleaned, inspected and made safe before tenants are given the keys. In our experience, that clearly did not happen here.<br>The lack of attention to detail, cleanliness and basic standards reflects very poorly on the estate agent. We expected professionalism but instead received a property that required significant cleaning and sorting before it was even habitable.<br>I would, however, like to thank the landlord for agreeing to an early surrender of the tenancy after the issues we experienced. We appreciated their willingness to bring the tenancy to an end, although we believe the situation arose because the property was not properly managed or prepared before we moved in.<br>Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and based on our experience, I would not recommend renting through this estate agent. Like mentioned they will agree to everything and anything once you have the keys all these promises go out the window and they fail to answer their phones or call back.

Extremely disappointed. First time I ever had such a bad experience with the property agents. They rented out my property deducted there fee but no signs of rent in account. My property it’s my rent so basically they really don’t bother . On constant chasing they saying first payment is going through audit and now they got excuse that on weekend the account team doesn’t work . It’s not my business . I be reporting this and James and Shakira I won’t in my life ever do business again with Andrew’s . It’s a joke now I don’t hv any right to get my property back and had no rent. Ur fees just to find the tenants wasn’t enough for you guys isn’t ? I trusted in your firm so I gave the keys to the tenants so many loop holes . Should hv told if it takes so many days to just do a normal bank transfer .<br>To all landlords out there do not do any business with them .

They give out your number to contractors and don’t even inform you about this or that you need works doing. When you report issues they ignore. When you call no one is available. When you send emails it takes days to respond. Please avoid renting from this company.
