This is a NO star review, you pay all this administrating fees and i do all the chasing checking my references came back okay, checking status of the move etc maybe they should of paid me the fees as i was doing their job. i only went through andrews because i wanted this home. i dont get paid till 1st of every month so when i stated this because of rent being paid i was told i had to pay extra £91.00 for the couple of days in between.... when someone sensible from their head office ( jade ) who was the only one that was helpful said no thats not correct the landlord agreed you could pay on the 1st... so where was all that extra money going to ??? a night out perhaps??? ..... if this was the first time dealing with an estate agent i would of been a mess but this is just a bad bunch!!!!! they seem friendly and then once they get your money its a struggle to hear from them get questions answered etc ...NEVER AGAIN will i go through andrews.

I would like to thank staff at Andrews for making my dream come true. I have a lot of faith in them and would recommend them no end. The contact and communication from viewing to purchasing and moving into a property I purchased through them made me feel at ease with the whole process. I think a lot of attention was shown, making me realise how much they value their customers and it was not just about the vendors but also the buyers and in this case it was me. Andrews have managed my property for close to 25 years and the service has been excellent, so much so that when I was considering buying another buy-to-let property in England, I mostly thought of buying in the same area as I'm confident of the service I would get. I have liked that there has not been a great turnover of staff through the years, so I recognise the people I'm occasionally dealing with. The service has been mostly proactive with any issues that have arisen, which is important as I live in Norway and thus do not get much chance to come to the area, and I wish to maintain a high standard not just myself but also towards my tenants. My statement arrives on time, as does my annual statement. Couldn't be more satisfied. Thanks to everyone at Orpington (and formerly Sidcup) for the years of good service.

we bought a house from them 1 year ago and while we were living in the house we were paying the bills on time and there were no problems with the house and we didnt cause any and when we left the house 2 months ago they said there was no problem with the house but when the time came for them to return our deposit they keep bringing up new problems that we apparently caused while we were there even though they done a check before we left and said themselves there was no problem so i dont understand what they are trying to do as we have asked multiple times for them to return our deposit and they tell us they will give it to us they will give it to us soon but they dont and they are also taking money from my account with out telling me the reasons for it

The rental side of the business is an absolute disgrace, lies, lies and more lies. The Senior Manageress (Bobby) lied to my mother (a pensioner) in order for her to take a tenancy. There is an air conditioning unit in the flat that my mother was swindled into renting for a year. Bobby the Senior Manageress said it was because the landlady has asthma but it's clearly because of damp and condensation problems. She went on to say it costs just pennies a month to run. It doesn't, it costs a fortune and it is so cold, my mother would need the heating on during Summer in order to stay there. My mother cannot stay there as it is so cold, dirty and the bills would be astronomical but they will not release her from her contract. Shameful.
